For me this stuff will always be a part of my nail polish kit. It definitely removes gel polish (if used correctly) within 3 to 5 minutes depending on how many layers of polish you have on. Use more than once if necessary. You must file off the top clear coat first, then CAREFULLY apply the gel remover onto the top of the polish avoiding any contact with the skin. After a few minutes you should start to see the gel polish loosen up then take a wooden cuticle stick and scrape it off starting from the cuticle up toward the top of your nail. I've tried this same process to remove dip nail powders. This is an acid and it will burn your skin but it won't hurt your nail and it does work. TIP.. because this is an acid and it will burn if it gets on your skin, do one or two nails at a time. It's still faster than using acetone and less chance of any hurtful mess. Less chemicals too.

Works wonderfully and easily. Apply, wait, scrape. Full set done in 10, start to finish. HOWEVER - if you have psoriasis, you may want to skip any product which requires you to scrape your nail, however lightly. The stress is simply too much - the scraping was gently done, but I had a full blown nail psoriasis outbreak after two weeks, which I am still battling. This is not the products fault. It is a symptom of the condition of my affliction. The product is, as said before, wonderful.

Took a few coats to get it off, does work for builder gel. I filed the nails down quite a bit and then used this in coats pushing what had some lose off in between. Took probably 1-2 hours but was a lot easier and easier on the nails for someone who does their own. Would use again.

I'm kind of nail nuts and change my acrylic nails weekly. It takes a little work to get the gel polish off before I can start to work on the acrylic nail underneath. I decided to try this and even though it doesn't "melt" the polish off like the photos show - it does make it easier to remove with my grinder. I also have an electric soaking bowl (that I LOVE) but that doesn't work so well with the polish. It does great on the acrylic nails, tho. It would be nice if this gel remover also worked on the top coat but you have to get that off before you can even start to work on the polish. I ordered this just to see if it worked and will use it until it's gone - but I pretty much spend the same amount of time and energy just using a file to remove the polish.
