Better than I can Describe
First time trying the ombré colored filament—it’s a big hit. We will be buying more color options soon.

sticks well. comes off easily.
I bought 2 different rolls of tri-color silk pla. I printed on a creality ender V3 KE at plate 50C and nozzel 220c. The plate was a glass comgrow. The print was a articulated dragon for each roll. they stuck well without glue and came off easily when cool. they change color from different directions. Beautiful. Zero problems. I will buy this brand again.

Filament sticks in tubing, but not bed
Tried using it right out of the package. Filament should not have been wet, used recommended per package/supplier settings.I tried printing some baby dragons with it.Could not even get a single layer printed and it wouldn’t adhere properly.Second print, it is now clogged somewhere after printing the first layer of 7 of the dragons (of a plate of 30+). I cannot find where it got stuck in the tubing and I already tore apart the hot end and extruder with no luck and it’s still stuck somewhere else.I have had my machine since September of last year and have never had a clog or a stuck filament in my ams or anything so far with about 1.5-2k range of hours on it already. Until now. Also the cardboard is wobbly in the ams, and the filament is not wound very well and gets stuck at times on the reel too, besides my issue somewhere inside the tubing/ams. I’ve already spent a good 6-8 hours troubleshooting and trying to reprint and the print itself is only 10 hours. If I used a different filament, my print would have already been finished and my printer would still be working. Not worth the money spent for all the hassle. It’s pretty filament, but not ruin my machine and ams and time suck trying to fix it pretty. I’ll likely try a different brand next time.

Prints great, but colors are much darker than advertised in normal light
Tip: Always dry your filament before using! My full review is listed under the pros and cons.Pros:- Great adhesion- Interesting color effects- Very shiny- Easy to print- Spools nicely woundCons:- Colors not as advertised- Occasional gaps in prints- Occasional color shifts- Pricey compared to other filaments--Print quality--I printed these sample spools on my Prusa Mini+ with a PEI bed and the adhesion was great. I printed at 220C with the default settings in PrusaSlicer and the prints came out very shiny with little to no stringing (after drying). The spools are wound very nicely (better than Atomic Filaments, but not quite as perfectly as Prusament), but they don't fit on the spool holder that came with my printer. I ended up laying the spool flat and the printer had no problem pulling filament without tangling.I did hear quite a few popping noises while printing, and upon inspection I found some gaps in my prints. I do expect pops with wet filament, but I dried it down to 14% humidity so I don't see why it would still be wet. The gaps weren't very noticeable in my prints, but this could be a concern for you if you're looking for perfection. One of my prints had a few layers where the colors moved--ie, if red was on top, it switched to yellow for a few layers, then went back to red. This disrupted the rainbow effect on the print, but thankfully it only lasted for a few layers. I didn't expect this due to how nicely the spool was wound, so I'm not sure what happened there. Again, this might be an issue for you if you're looking for perfection, but it didn't bother me too much.--Colors--My biggest gripe is with the colors. They're darker than what's advertised. I have no doubt that the colors are stunning in bright, natural light, but they simply aren't the same as what you see in the pictures, regardless of how your monitor is calibrated. The colors look much darker when viewed in indoor light (even when it's bright/by a window), and some of the colors look muddy, especially the tricolors. The dual colors look pretty good, but they're still dark. If you're expecting to receive the exact colors listed in the photo, look elsewhere. But if you don't mind darker shades, this might be perfect for you.--Value--I bought this at $35 for 4x200g of filament. That's $0.044 per gram. Prusament is $30 for 1kg, or $0.03 per gram. Atomic Filament is $30-$35 for 1kg, or $0.03-0.035 per gram. As you can see, this filament is more expensive than both of those high-quality filaments. I'd say that the OVV3D filament is good, but Atomic and Prusament are great, so in the future I'd rather buy from them than get another sample pack from this brand. The benefit of buying this particular pack is that you get four colors instead of one, which is why I bought it in the first place. I wanted to try a few different colors before committing to a full spool. I'm glad I did so, because the colors aren't what I need for bigger projects, and I don't plan on buying them again. All in all, a good printing experience, but not my favorite final result.

Completely impressed by R/B/Y filament after a 14 hour print.
Just completed a 14 hour print with this filament. Flawless! This print was actually the dragon model shown in the filament's listing. I was originally concerned about printing without supports since the bridges between the segments are curved (most unsupported bridges are straight). But the filament and printer handled this perfectly. Surface finish and color of the Red/Blue/Yellow filament are awesome. Some reviews mentions problems with adhering to the print bed but I didn't experience any of that - even small areas held well and then released easily once the bed had cooled. Absolutely zero stringing observed.

Gorgeous filament
This filament works perfectly with our Bambu A1 mini! My son has been creating all sorts of little prints for himself and friends.
