Kyara Taikan - Premium Aloeswood Incense 150 Sticks

My awesome husband bought these for me for Valentine's day, and these are absolutely the most exquisite incense I have ever used or smelled. The packaging is beautiful, very ceremonial, and will be kept as a keepsake box even after all the incense have been used. The sticks are very delicate, and smell like FRESH, SPRING AIR. It's uncanny. The scent is not perfume-y, not hippie, not overly flavored, just light, breezy fresh spring air. It elevated the mood of our entire house. Best part is they are not overly smokey. Most incense I prefer to use on the porch because of the smoke, but these have one tiny light thread of smoke that vanishes and just fills the house with a pleasant feel. They are magic, and I will surely buy these again!!

This is sublime cerimonial grade agarwood incense. PROFOUND exquisite scent. You won't believe these upper grade agarwood insence. Stick with Nippon Kodo or Shoyeido for this level.

Premium quality aloeswood incense can be really expensive—the best kyara incense sticks sold at Nippon Kodo can be over 2000 dollars for an even smaller box. Yet, high end aloeswood incense is really distinctive and worth every penny. Kyara Taikan is amongst the affordable high-ends and has a really exquisite, subtle touch. Compare it with those average incense sticks labelled as "aloeswood" or "agarwood," and one would immediately understand the difference.

I like the scent; however. It’s only 142 sticks when it supposed to be 150;

The scene is a little sweet - just a little but somewhat acrid and pungent. It is also very week and burns fast - may be 10 minutes. The box is very tiny and the rods are very very thin ( ~1mm) and short. May be this is the scent of aloes wood but there sure is not a lot in it. I do not pick up any artificial scent which is good.

My third box. Love the elegant and quite smell, with enough hints of aloeswood. Last about 25 mins, just enough for a short yoga session.

Much smaller package than expected. I did count the contents and to my surprise there were 145 not 150 sticks.

The scent is absolutely divine—authentic, soothing, and deeply relaxing. It truly helped calm my mind and prepare me for a better night’s sleep.

I was introduced to this instance by a dear friend. The scent is incredibly soothing and invokes so many good memories. I’m so glad to be able to have it delivered to Canada.
