PROS: This product really helps break up the dirt, debris and stains I use it on my very narrow staircase, along with a really good stain remover for high traffic floors/carpet. CONS: I wish I didn't have to use one of these gadgets; however, it's great to know that a product like this one can do the job, especially when the shampooer will NOT fit the stairs. Plus, I do not like the cleaning wand on my shampooer/vacuum because it doesn't have a "rotating" beater brush to help get the dirt out of the carpeted stairs. It has been a struggle for years, I.e. until I found this little beauty. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! Q: Would I purchase again in the future? YES! Would I recommend to relatives & friends? YES!

omg, this is divine. I don't use vacuum cleaner anymore since the kittie hair always stoppered it up!!!! Aargh! I use this sturdy brush every day, it picks up the kittie hair and, nicely, even the little particles (plant buds, debris, etc.). Treat it with respect (don't yank at it) and clean out the bristles with your fingertips or a wide-toothed brush. Does a nice job and provides undemanding exercise too!! Yahoo!

The brush head worked dresser but the handle it came work broke the first time I used it.

After reading some of the reviews for the Spotty and the handle breaking, I was a little skeptical of ordering it. I did order one and used it immediately. The handle was made of metal with plastic threads that screw into one of two positions on the brush, dictated by how the brush is to be used. I have some extension poles that I use to change light bulbs with and another one for a mop, both with threaded ends on them that fit the Spotty brush, should the pole that came with the Spotty break. Not sure if the company redesigned the size of the threads after people were complaining about the threads not being universally available on replacement poles. The Spotty is a very sturdy brush that I used to clean a wide traffic area with spray carpet cleaner. The brush does what it is supposed to do. I may have to experiment with different carpet cleaning solutions to get the best result. For spot cleaning, whether on carpet or cleaning a tile floor, the Spotty is going to be a go to cleaning tool for me.

I have dogs and I have area rugs over laminate floors. Not the best combination. The rugs are constantly dirty but the laminate means I can't use a wet product or steam to clean them. Once tried moving to the driveway, scrubbing and hosing - it was a disaster. This brush allowed me to do a fairly good cleaning with a dry carpet shampoo. The brush also pulled out a lot of the dog fur that even my high-powered vacuum couldn't get. The handle, however, is a problem. As many other reviewers have noted, it collapses at the expansion joint when one bears down on the brush. I managed to use it by bending and gripping the handle below the joint with one hand while pushing with the other. Awkward and tiresome. Having seen the warnings about the handle's propensity to also break, I checked to make sure I could replace it if needed. Lowes carries a one-piece wood handle with a 3/4 inch thread so will purchase this before I do the next cleaning. All-in-all I would buy this again, but the manufacturer should take note of the many complaints about the pole.

Great little tool. Does much better job than my electric Bissel...it actually gets to the grout, instead of just the tile. Of course, it requires some human effort. But, you feel like the grout is really getting clean.

Satisfied and Unsatisfied with this product! The brush is amazing...The handle/extender pole would not stay tightened when using it! Return window closed so now I'm stuck with it! Was not worth the money! Wish I could get a new handle

I really love this brush; I had stains on my carpet very hard to remove. At first I made a solution and put the carpet and used my carpet scrubbing to remove and used my carpet cleaner. I can’t believe the scrubber remove the stains. I will recommend this product to get out stubble stains. “Thank you! “ Spotty for job well done!!! ❤️

Cheap construction does not warrant the near $100 cost assigned. I would put the value at $25 and comes with a cancer warning for materials used in it.
