They definitely work—no complaints there. They’re convenient and much easier to use than the liquid version. However… I did, in fact, turn full Smurf blue. I wore gloves just like the instructions said, but what I didn’t expect was the powder coating the outside of the packets. By the time I tossed them into the pond, I had basically dusted myself head‑to‑toe. Honestly, there should be a warning to wear painter’s coveralls, a ski mask, and goggles because the dye gets everywhere. The color does seem to last longer than the liquid, but I’ll probably stick with the liquid going forward. It’s easier to control—and I don’t have to explain the blue freckles afterward.

Everything worked as expected expected when I opened it one of the packets wasn't sealed and got everywhere but the pond. I requested a return but I dont have anything to send back expect the package. Still waiting on them to get back to me about my return.

One packet worked great for our 1/4 acre pond. Will buy again.

I love these because they are so easy and keeps you clean. The bottled pond dye is definitely cheaper, but it is messy and the ink gets on everything if you are not super careful. With these, you just open the bag and toss it in.
