No DOA
They packaged 13 clams instead of 10 My only gas would be to cover DOA. They came in a vacuum sealed bag all alive and doing very well immediately starting burying themselves into the substrate after the curious fish left them alone and immediately started opening up and cleaning the water doing their job very happy with this purchase and how they arrived will definitely be ordering from these people again real soon.

shipped fast and in great shape!
The media could not be loaded. these little guys are so dang cool, and were packed well! we’ve had a little mini heat wave the past few days that i wasn’t expecting, so i was really worried about them overheating en route - but they were so well insulated that the water was still nice and cold when i opened the box!! drip acclimated mine before putting them into their new home and they settled in real fast - almost all are burrowed by now, but a bunch have their siphons poking out and a lot of em are cruising around! got some really excellent time lapse footage of them filter feeding, super cool to. see up close. even if they don’t end up successfully breeding for me, they’re really cool little critters to keep and observe and im excited to watch them grow!! :) fingers crossed for long and happy clam lives.if yours don’t seem to be moving much when they first arrive, don’t worry! it can take them some time to get used to changes in water chemistry and feel safe enough to start doing clam things, and it’s gonna be dependent on temperature, water flow and quality, and the behavior of their tankmates if they have any. took almost all day for my little dudes to start really digging even with a gradual acclimation period and no roommates aside from a couple of danios that mostly left them alone and a crayfish that doesn’t even register them as there at all - if they’re being closely investigated by more curious fish or inverts, they might clam up for longer.

One Of Them Only Lived A Day
I would say, I wasn’t expecting much, because they are clams, and not much maintenance. Still though, one of them died after only being in the tank for a day, and the package actually didn’t even come via Amazon, or rush, or anything . The package literally came regular postal mail, so it was delivered into a mailbox. I don’t think you should be sending animals regular mail. There was also no padding or anything either. It doesn’t seem like the seller really cared too much about the safety of the animals getting here alive or healthy.

All dead after 2 days
Got 12 clams and had them in a quarantine tank. Within 2 days, they all were dead. I am a intermediate/advanced level hobbyist and knows things about aquatics including shrimp and snails. Not sure if these clams are really freshwater as the water that came with them had very strong smell of salt water. I do not recommend this.

Still alive!
These arrived alive! All of them! They live in the substrate of my aquarium that has under gravel filtration with power heads, which pull water flow right past them. Haven't had one die yet. I have them in a community 25 gallon tank heavily stocked with plants, shrimp, fish, and snails. I feed dry powdered baby fish food and single celled algae in dry powder form to other aquatic lifeforms in tank, they probably eat some also. They filter feed.

They were all alive when I got them
They were all alive on arrival. I had them almost 2 months and I have found any dead ones and for sure I can see 3 just sticking out of the substrate still sucking in water. I'd buy them again

Super happy with these!
Perfect tiny size for smaller aquariums! Very happy I ordered them! Probably should have ordered more though? After temp stabilization I put them in and they came out and did what they do. So cool and happy I got them.

Dead within days
I got a bunch of cute little clams and quarantined them with a small heater for a few days and they all died. A handful on day two then the rest by day three. I was leftover with one teeny tiny clam and so I just threw him in my aquarium and he is alive for now but not sure how long it’ll last. Not thrilled.
