EDITED REVIEW: 5 stars to 3.Initially, I thought these were a great purchase. Solid cuff, aluminum frame, good wheel size/hardness, etc.Turns out, they are definitely third-world reproductions of something that could have been quality.Ratchet buckles - cheaply made mechanism; I've gotten locked in my boot twice, and had to jimmy and rock it free a dozen times on one side.Top latches slip, more every wear. 50/50 chance it will stay as tight as you secure it.Frame - screw thru one boot is welded to a plate under the 'sock.' Plate is now loose, but can't remove the screw from the frame to fix it; the result is a frame that moves about 1 inch side-to-side under your foot while you skate (yeah, only by the grace of God have I not broken my nose while trying to turn/crossover/stop, etc.) and CANNOT BE TIGHTENED.And lastly, increasingly, the wheels are loosening while skating - nothing some thread lock couldn't fix, but principle.I skate almost every day, and these took no time at all to reinforce the 'get what you pay for' concept.Buy them if you skate once a week. Like, at a rink. For an hour or less.Otherwise, do yourself a favor and put the money towards real skates.

So, I did not read the full description of the product before buying it; this left me pleasantly surprised when I found out the wheels light up when you roll around. The skates fit perfectly snug on my feet. My only issue is that I wish I had thought to check to see if it had the brake on the back. I know most skates don't have that, but I haven't skated in a long time and prone to falling. Knowing this, I pushed through learning how to skate with these skates, and they worked amazingly! I am starting to pick up how to skate again. Not only am I able to skate better gradually, I am having fun flashing the wheels around!
