I love to cook and bake, and enjoy incorporating nuts into meals, baked goods, and snacks. Diamond Shelled Walnut Halves and Pieces are a must have in my pantry! - Always very high quality. Fresh and delicious with a wonderful walnut taste and aroma. - Great for use in cooking, baking, meals, and snacks. - Pro Tip: Simple to make Toasted Walnuts will elevate any dish or snack into something extra special. (photo attached.) Simple to toast walnut pieces in a skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium heat on your stove top. Do not add any oil to the skillet, and keep stirring the walnuts until they are toasted to your liking. You will love the toasted flavor and aroma! Walnuts toast quickly, so do not leave the stovetop and continue to stir them so you do not burn the nuts. Sprinkle the toasted walnuts with ground cinnamon or ground ancho chile powder for a different flavor profile. I have begun using nuts as snacks and i had no idea what brand of walnut to buy. Diamond has a good reputation and it didn't disappoint. The nuts are large and meaty and have a delicious taste. No shriveled nuts and no harsh tannins. These would also be great for cooking. I use them in salads as well as just a snack. I keep them in the freezer but they probably won't last long enough for that to be necessary. I would definitely buy these again.

Terrific! Walnuts are the only major tree nut that is an excellent source of alpha-linolenic acid! Pair w/ fish 3 x per week and skip the vitamins. Also avacados {YES} and spinach, Brussels sprouts, broccoli. Vitamins are an OK, but no vitamin can compare with REAL FOODS! Don't be fooled by commercials any longer! Does anyone ever ask; "how was your vitamin dinner tonight Henry"? answer..." I don't know Alice, I can't taste a thing"! We have access to foods in abundance! No reason not to 'Feast' everyday within reasonable qualities & quanities! Modern man eats better today than any King that ever lived in history! And its all at the corner store, or Amazon delivery like I do as a senior citizen! Eat right, stay right!
