Pool Rx Booster Black 20k-30k Gallons, Booster - Single (102066)

This is my first time with the refill and it works great. I plan to alternate new product then refill each summer. The pool store recommended this to fight algae and it definitely helped compared to not having it. I didn’t pay attention to size well and probably could have used half of this refill and been fine. Something to keep in mind if you’re getting a refill.

Since using this product my pool has been crystal clear and I notice I am using less chlorine.

This really do the job. Turned of my ozonator and don't need it now. This works great. No algae.

I used this product last year and it worked great. The start of this year we drained the pool, replaced the sand in the filter, put freshwater in. Then put a new black cartridge in the pump basket, the same as last year. The pool started to get green and had to shock it. Then I bought this booster product. Let the pump run for 2 days. Actual had two pumps circulating the water for 2 days. Again, it did not kill the algae that started to form. Back to shocking the pool and setting up the Chlorine system. So disappointing, spent all of this money and it did not work. I wish it did, last year it did a great job. No sure if they changed something in their product. I guess I will see if they do anything to back their product.

It really works! We purchase a house with a pool and the previous owners had neglected the pool and it had a good amount of black algae around the pool. Very hard spots super hard to eliminate. We look for videos and tried rubbing the chlorine tablets on the spots and it works a bit but it a lot of hard work. We saw a video of this product and purchase it because it was frustrating to see the black spots in the pool. It took about three weeks and the spots are gone! We purchase the black one because our pool is about 40,000 gallons. It’s been about 4 months and the spots haven’t comeback. We know it works for about six months and we will continue purchasing it.
