My usual supplier was not able to fulfill a bulk order and I was desperate! No one could get this to me by the time I needed it so I took a chance and it definitely paid off! I was able to make my batches of soap and get my orders out on time. The oil performed with no issues in my cold process soap recipes. Overall my cost was lower due to shipping costs vs Prime! Great product and excellent results. I have never experienced anything negative. I noticed users who are experiencing difficulties with melting this product are giving bad reviews. I have included some tips on melting below. Tips: Bottle is made from HDPE or high-density polyethylene is microwave safe. It has a tolerance of -40 to 266 degrees Fahrenheit before distortion. 3 processes you can use to melt your palm oil 1. Leave in sun (depends on your location) 2. Microwave (1-2 minute bursts) 3. Turn oven on at 320, after pre heating turn oven off. Place container on a baking sheet and insert in oven when temperature is at 266. You can use these methods each time you need to melt your oils or you can purchase an HDPE pale with lid. Melt your oils in 1 go and pour them into the pail. You will have scoopable palm oil anytime you want! Essential Depot does sell palm oil in pails, but I think those cost a little more. As described, good quality, amount for price and it is thick. The only crappy part is having to heat it up to get it out of the jug.

I used it in soap recently and it worked fine. However, I will either be cutting the top off of the container when I use it again rather than spooning it out with a long handled teaspoon or trying to get it to melt enough so I can pour it. So while the product is a good buy, it is definitely unhandy.

I got this for soap making. Responsible sustainability was a major factor in this choice. This comes in 2 gallon containers with a small opening which was the only down side for me as the palm oil was solid thus not pourable. I was able to get what I needed by using a knife in the opening. The palm oil Is rich & creamy in texture with very little scent. Nice product.

Loved it..made soap making a step easier

This is a solid mass of thick oil that does not pour. Yet you sent this product in a bottle with a very small opening. I cannot even get a spoon in it to scoop it out into a different container.
