Does this product work on fabric shoes?

Yes, I painted my canvas tennis shoes.. Came out great.

how many shoes can i paint with this kit? approx.

It depends on the size and the coverage of each shoe you are painting. I personally have done characters on 7 pairs, 5 kids and 2 adult pairs, so far and only my white is out ..because I also use that to lighten colors and primer so again it depends on the size of the shoe and the coverage

Will this work on the outer soles? Such as amplifoam and rubber?

This paint is specifically made for “leather goods” things like shoes, jackets, belts, bags, wallets, furniture, etc. I would do a little more research just to make sure. The paint is good quality. However, the best paint is hands down a company called ANGELUS. They have everything you would need to restore a sneaker to the best way possible regardless of what material it make be. A lot of professional sneaker restorers use this paint. It’s more expensive, but you get what you pay for. All in all, if you’re restoring a small area this paint is fine…..if you have more restoring then just paint, look into ANGELUS. Hope this helps.
