The ad is deceiving as it shows multiple sets. You receive one set of 2 rods and 4 toothed cross bars. You do not receive high-fire wires or stilts as shown in the examples. The rods unscrew so that you can remove some of the toothed cross bars, if necessary. I use it to hang ornaments and other small hanging items using high fire wire to fashion hanging hooks and then elevate with stilts. Hope that helps

I fire to Cone 5-6 and the temperature range for that is higher than the one listed in the description. What would happen if I fired higher?

I am looking at this and thinking about buying it too. It appears they are saying it fires to 1350 degrees Celsius. That is higher than Cone 10.

How many is in the package? Are the rods with it?

It comes with 2 rods and 4 long hangers.The hangers have segmented "teeth" for hanging your wares. It can be arranged in different configurations or separated. I found it useful for firing small objects such as ornaments or jewelry that needs to be glazed on all sides. I use high temperature wire to make hanging hooks to use on the segmented sections.
