Do you need to use wax on this board?

You don't need to, but you can put a light layer of wax if you want some traction on the board

Is there a 54" version? My research online shows I should get one that long for my height.

Unfortunately the 48" is the biggest one we make

It does not have a rocker. It is completely flat on the bottom. Worked really well at the ocean where we just came from!
