does this work well with tru catch 30" feral cat trap?

Yes, the size of our cover is 32*10*12inch, and the size of the cage can be matched with a little error. Please note that we only sell cover, cage must be purchased separately by yourself.

Is the cover machine washable?

By hands only, and I don't mean spray wash it with a garden hose or submerge it in water in a big sink and hand wash it, unless doodoo stains or falls on it. You can use your broom or duster to sweep or dust it clean. If anything sticky falls on it, then wipe it with a wet paper or cloth towel or a sanitary wipe.

Why isnt it covered on all 4 sides? I mean a feral cat would go crazy trying to get out of the ine that isnt covered

This cover is used in the whole process of capturing and transporting. It is specially designed for 1- door human trap cage. If it is fully covered, it will affect the capture. Therefore, a wall is specially reserved for your capture work that could help you hide your traps.

cage cover for trap

I used the trap right away and it was easy to slip over cage. Now I can trap even if it is raining and it has just stopped raining when I put the cover on the trap. It worked the animal went right into the cage and I immediately took it to the animal rehabers. I did purchase another trap and cover to cover it too. The city tore down a burned out apartment complex and the rats, raccoon and possums have overrun the city.

Strong well made

Purchased this to catch a cat so we could get it to vets as he was injured. Caught a couple of squirrels cat disappeared. I’m sure it will come in useful in the future.
