Delicious and Filling
I thoroughly enjoyed these meal bars!!! All the flavors were appealing to me, but Chocolate Hemp was probably my favorite. Maybe it was the extra fat? I have to agree with some other reviewers though, the flavors were fairly tame and somewhat similar among each of them except the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk (pictured in my photo). That one will probably be preferred by most. It’s a little different than the others in texture and is very tasty. It’s easier to eat and has a more identifiable flavor. It’s delicious!I personally didn’t find these to be too dry. I guess I could see why someone would, but they were just right for my tastes. The raw aspect maybe isn’t for everyone. It takes a long time to get all the way through one. Even though they look small, they’re incredibly dense. LOTS of chewing (which is a good thing). It literally feels like I’ve had an entire meal by the end of one. And I actually fill full for hours after. I’ve never had anything like this last that long. What’s even better is the way they make me feel. It’s just a really, really pleasant uplifting feeling. I NEVER get that after jerky, nuts or junk food (obviously). This is actually very clean, and it certainly feels that way.I truly enjoyed these bars and would happily recommend them to anyone! I wish I could afford to buy more.

Great for on-the-go
I got these as I want something for the occasional on-the-go day. What I need is something that tastes reasonably good, something that is reasonably nutritious, something that is reasonably filling, and something easy to carry along. These meet all of those requirements. The taste is good. Not great, but good. Which is perfect. I want something I can store in my pantry and not necessarily grab because I'm bored, or sad, or whatever, and I just want a treat. I want something that when we have an early appointment and really don't want to get up early enough to make breakfast, we can grab and go and nobody will complain that it tastes like cardboard.By reasonably nutritious, I guess I mean something that has a fair amount of protein, and doesn't have a ton of sugar and fat.Reasonably filling -- for such a small bar, you don't necessarily expect it to fill you up. But the bar is dense, and you will want to have some water available. And yes, it does a good job of making me feel like I've eaten a small meal, and that feeling lasts awhile. Enough that I'm not tempted to do something really unhealthy like cruise through a drive-thru for a breakfast sandwich.Easy to carry along - this is small, doesn't need to be refrigerated, doesn't need to be heated, just open and eat. I can eat while I drive, I can carry one in my purse. This totally meets my needs.

Kind of just "meh"
Review of: **On Target Living Food Bar 12 Pack- Variety Pack | Cinnamon Raisin | Chocolate Hemp | Blueberry Lemon | Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk |**This is a difficult review to write since these bars just kind of sit in the middle of the road category in so many ways. I shared these with my wife and 15 year old son and we all had the same reaction - they don't taste bad but they aren't great either. The overall consistency is a bit dry but I wouldn't describe them as hard or difficult to chew. The best part of these bars is probably the ingredients - all natural, whole ingredients with no artificial or processed anything. Total calorie content per bar varies by flavor but is around 415-325. These seem like bars that are intended to be kept in a pack or your car in case you got stranded and needed emergency sustenance. The last factor that kept me from giving more than a 3-star rating was the price. At $45 for the 12-pack, this works out to $3.75 per bar - quite expensive. I realize high quality natural, whole ingredients cost more, but these are just not quite up to that price point for me.My wife really summed it up when she described them as just "meh". Not bad, not great, just meh.

dense and packed with calories--great for hiking or cycling
These bars taste great, are made with wholesome ingredients, and are packed with calories. They are great for hiking or cycling. The bars themselves are relatively small, so they could easily fit in a hiking pack or the pocket of a cycling jersey. I would not typically eat these bars as a small afternoon snack just because they have a ton of calories. But, when you really want the calories, they are a great choice. Even though the bars are quite dense, they are easy to chew (which is good when you're on a bike and are trying to shove food in your mouth). While the ingredients are not 100% organic, I get the feeling that the company that makes these bars really tries to use the best, whole ingredients for their products. Each bar only contains raw oats, dried fruit, honey, nuts/seeds, and cocoa. I love that the wrapper is completely compostable! All the flavors are good in this variety pack, but I really enjoyed the blueberry lemon. If raw ingredients are important to you in a bar, this is one of the better-tasting bars I have come across. They are very expensive at nearly $4 per bar, but each bar does contain a lot of calories, and the ingredients are high quality.

Great ingredients, snack size, interesting (good) flavor mix
Very dense bars; small when you first look at them, but they pack a lot of nutrition into each one. Even with how dense they are, they're not too filling; great as a healthy snack on the go, maybe for hiking or keepign in your bookbag if you're on campus all day and don't want to poison your body with the junk out of the vending machines.Blueberry Lemon had the best flavor profile, but I'm a fan of chocolate so liked those as well.Overall, an expensive but very healthy snack. If you can afford to eat this healthy, they're a great choice.
