Amazing for removing scuffs
I have a few Items from this brand , they're all well made and make watch adjustments really easy as everything is really well made and fits the jobs needed perfectly!.I got a pretty nasty scuff and noticeable scratch on my watch bracelet and unfortunately polishing actually made it worse as it stood out more.It wasn't Matt finish but brushed raw stainless but I believe silver Matt finish would also be okayA quick Google guide and I followed the instructions and I now have my watch looking back to factory.A few things ... wear gloves and eye protection plus work on a cloth as this is a glass compound brush...ever worked with fibreglass?...yes it's nasty right!Release about a 5 mm of bristles and roll gently against a hard surface till they separate a bitShorter will harden the surface making it more abrasive...longer will be less abrasiveUse like a paint brush following the grain of the metal going in one directionStart softer and adjust till you get the desired abrasionLight pressure and add more till you see a change .Don't use on polished surfaces or ion coated ones as you'll do more harm than good.Great for cleaning corroded bits too.

Life saver
So I accidentally rubbed off the Matt finish effect from my watch bracelet, and then I read online about using this pen in one direction only to bring back the Matt effect. It works beautifully. Very pleased with the outcome and happy to not be changing the entire bracelet. .

Effective Tool for Rust Removal - Bergeon 2834-C Fiber Glass Scratch Brush
I've been using the Bergeon 2834-C Fiber Glass Scratch Brush for removing rust from pocket watches, and it has proven to be an effective and essential tool in my watch repair kit. Here’s my detailed review:Key Features:Efficient Rust Removal: This fiberglass scratch brush excels at removing rust from delicate pocket watch parts. Its fine bristles reach into tight spaces, ensuring thorough cleaning without damaging the components.Precision Cleaning: The brush offers excellent control and precision, making it easy to clean intricate details and small areas that are hard to reach with other tools. It’s perfect for the delicate work required in watch repair.Durable Construction: The brush is well-made and durable, with bristles that maintain their effectiveness over time. The body is sturdy and comfortable to hold, allowing for prolonged use without discomfort.Performance:In my experience, the Bergeon 2834-C Fiber Glass Scratch Brush performs exceptionally well in removing rust from pocket watches. It efficiently cleans the affected areas, restoring the parts to their original condition. However, it does leave behind tiny fiberglass pieces, which can adhere to the cleaned parts.Maintenance:One thing to note is that after using the brush, it’s necessary to wash off the fiberglass residue from the cleaned parts. This extra step is important to ensure that no fiberglass fragments remain on the watch components, which could potentially cause issues later.Value for Money:Despite the need for post-cleaning, the Bergeon 2834-C Fiber Glass Scratch Brush is well worth its price. The effectiveness in rust removal and the precision it offers make it an invaluable tool for anyone serious about watch repair. Conclusion:I highly recommend the Bergeon 2834-C Fiber Glass Scratch Brush for removing rust from pocket watches. Its precision and efficiency make it a standout tool in my workshop. Just remember to thoroughly wash the parts after use to remove any leftover fiberglass pieces. Overall, it’s a great investment for maintaining and restoring the quality of pocket watches.
