Frenziedly shake your over-sized beaker: high protein, yummy, but lumpy
I've tried the following dairy-free protein shakes: Vegan Gainz, Bulk Vegan (3 flavours), EarthChamp and this one, SCI-MX Pro-V Gain. It's the nicest tasting of the lot and the highest protein, though I did receive one iffy batch (Amazon refunded) and necking two of these a day caused my gut to react to the sucralose sweetener, which I now largely avoid.Vegan Gainz, Pro-V Gain and even EarthChamp tend to be pretty similar in value at about 30 servings for around £30. Bulk is much better value (but requires some mettle to get it down in any of the three flavours I've tried). Most of these things taste... grey, at best, but Pro-V Gain is chocolately and creamy ... though, if we're honest, still pretty bland compared to a really nice (whey protein) shake (at least, when made with water - perhaps trying some milk substitute or mixing it in a smoothie is the way forward). But it's the lumpiest of all the vegan shakes I've tried, however frenziedly I shake my over-sized plastic beaker. So, though this one would be my choice, the sucralose issue means I've largely moved onto Bulk and EarthChamp, which are lower protein, taste less good, but use stevia as a sweetener.

Swapped brand
Tried this following daughter buying the chocolate..I found this too sweet so invested in the strawberry which is always my go to.Nice.. not sweet . I add protein soya milk, chia, nuts and seeds plus fruit and put in blender. I was very happy! I changed from a non vitamin Vegan wondershake to this. Half the cost and more nutrientsEqually fine in water shaken. Dissolves good I foundAlready on subscription!

Why change a good product and make it rubbish??
I used to buy the previous version of this - red and blue bag. It was a 5 star, tasty and fulfilling protein shake. This new green bag version is dreadful.New green bag formula / version review:1 - it is just too sweet. Even 1 hr after drinking it I was feeling nauseous with the sweetness of it. It did not fulfilling as previous versions, it just made me want to eat stuff to get rid of the nausea it caused.2- Mixes ok, no issues for me.3 - Packaging is sub-standard. Does not close properly in contrast with previous version.I don't understand why these companies have to change a good product into a mediocre one. Saving money in production, possibly?? It is a bad economy though, as clients will just drop you for something else. I was really happy I had found a vegan (animal product free) mix and now I am back to the drawing board.I bought it even after the previous not so good reviews of this new version as I need to try myself, since it is so hard to find a proper vegan product and I really liked the previous version. I am glad In bought the small bag - still a total waste of money as I don't now if I can stomach this after exercise and it will probably end up in the rubbish bin.I will never buy from this company again, unless I have written confirmation the formula is exactly as before. My star review goes from 5 starts on the previous version to 1 star on the green bag one. It is not just the taste. I literally felt sick after having it.

Good value
Tastes good, much better value than competing brands literally half the price of anything else I would buy. It doesn't mix with a fork or shake well at all and is very lumpy unless you use a blender. It's sweet but not sickly and I think they've done well with the flavour(choc) doesn't leave a funny aftertaste or anything. I handblend with a banana and natural yogurt and it's very good!It says it contains all essential amino acids and seems to be doing the job but I have upped my protein across the board so hard to say exactly what the effects of it are but I consistently use it and like the product.

Does the job well
Recently discovered I was lactose intolerant, which meant that I had to throw out a giant bag of whey powder, and find a suitable replacement. I've had a few vegan protein powders before - never hurts to try samples - but this one is the best that I've tried. It tastes good, mixes well, and it's reasonably priced. If I didn't know it was a vegan powder rather than whey, I wouldn't have been able to tell.

Vastly inferior product compared with original sci-mx vgain
The original sci -mx vgain in the blue and red packaging was 10/10 for great taste, smooth mixing and nutrition value (mix of protein sources and high amounts of vitamin and minerals) and I used the old product solidly for 3+ years until it appears to have been replaced by a vastly inferior product which this new vgain is.I’ve tried 5-10 other vegan proteins and this is not the worst by any stretch but it’s still hugely disappointing that sci mx have changed a great product for a mediocre one.Taste is bland but inoffensive. The mixing is not great - clumps a lot. The packaging is awful - the old packet had a really easy to use velcro close strip which shut properly. This one won’t seal so there’s no way to keep air from making the product go off. Nutritional value is worse that the old but still ok. Not as high in leucine which is lacking in most vegan diets and more soya based which isn’t a good in my view as the old blend of rice, pea and soya.Overall this product is a big disappointment as I hoped it would continue to be as good as the old blue and red stuff but in the new green packing but it is not the same and quite a lot worse.

Personally I love it!
Personally, I absolutely love this stuff. The flavour isn’t overpoweringly sweet, it’s great as a shake or in a yoghurt, or overnight oats. I’ve been using it everyday for years and I’m to be honest I’m still not bored of itBetween all the flavours my personal list of favourites are1) salted caramel 2) strawberry 3) vanilla 4) chocolateNone of them are terrible tasting or completely unpalatable, just slightly more bland as the list goes onThere are better tasting vegan protein powders available, and over the years I’ve tried a whole bunch of them, but not that I can find with these macros and for the price
