Chassis Guard Dust Resist Dirt Cover for Traxxas 1/10 Rally Slash 4x4 LCG

It’s well made and does keep out the dirt and debris. My only problem with it is it traps heat and doesn’t let the motor and esc cool as it should. I removed it pretty quickly.

This bag is exactly as described however only 1/10 Vxl slash 4x4 you have to remove the side chassis bumpers to put on the velcro. It works very well and keeping debris away from Electronics and most of the water however because it is not impermeable some things do get slightly damp when running in snow.

Works great. Have it on my slash ultimate 4x4 & it fits good. should come with instructions, but it doesn’t. was easy enough to install, but doesn’t tell you that the glue on Velcro strips needs heated before attaching them to the chassis for good adhesion. A lot of reviews saying it doesn’t fit this exact model, yet here it is. Fits well, not too tight. It goes OVER the nurf bar mounts as pictured. When doing so I suggest cutting the Velcro there in the corners otherwise the Velcro will eventually lift there. Good adhesion otherwise. It does limit airflow & makes it hotter inside, any cover like this will. Like having the windows in your car up on a hot day without ac, common sense tells you it will be hotter inside. But with good cooling fans it will be fine. Zippers work fine. The only real issues are there is no hole for the antenna & the logo where it’s placed rubs the shock. Antenna hole, just use a soldering iron & melt a hole so it doesn’t Frey, and or add an eyelet. Logo, you’ll have to unstitch. Other than that it is great, keeps dirt, rocks, mud & most water out. It will get wet, but substantially less than without. Keep in mind In my pictures I’m running traxxas OBA so it doesn’t zip closed in the front, but the listing specifically says it won’t fit OBA. I purchased it knowing this. Still works great. Arrived on time, good price, would buy again. I’d give it 5 stars if it had an antenna hole & came with instructions.

Build quality is great, awesome material, it does do a great job at keeping debris out of all the electronics, but make stuff run alot hotter than with no net, I also run dual fans on the vxl motor and a fan on the esc. Watching the temps with and with out the net on was almost a 40 degree difference.

I got this to use with a 2WD LCG Slash chassis after not being satisfied by other options I've come across. This one had good reviews so I wanted to give it a shot since the lcg 2wd is not too different from the lcg 4wd chassis in terms of size. As expected, the fit was not perfect out of the box but a few strategic cuts with a good pair of scissors allowed this dust guard to sit well and securely. Please see images for fit. If you're in the market for a dust guard for either a 4wd or 2wd Slash with the lcg chassis, this is your kit! Great quality and good value. 5/5

Worked perfectly for both Rustler 4x4 VXL and Slash 4x4 Ultimate. Great product, thick mesh, and super easy to install.

It does keep dirt out of the chassis, but the zippers break super easy.

The cover largely keeps out most debris and dust. All that gets through is smaller rocks and dirt through gaps in the chassis handle bracket. I'd imagine you could cut the cover to have a tighter fit to eliminate that issue though.
