I wear a size 46 and this belt fits me great. When the belt it tightened, not too tight, I have about 3 inches of belt left over. Comes with an extra buckle for the just in case because it it plastic. However, it is a hardened plastic and is not cheap. The belt itself is a plain and basic belt that I have been looking for awhile now. I've worn this with denim and even my khakis and it looks great with them. The belt is easy to loosen or take off when need to and even when those emergency times hit and you need to hurry and take your belt off. I did spill something on this belt and it was really easy to clean. All I had to do is wipe it clean. Great belt and is not cheaply made.

It took some figuring out as to how to set the belt up , and then was difficult to undo until I found the trick. That trick is simply putting the thumb between the waste and the loose webbing and then pushing it open.I strongly suggest figure out how to quickly open it before you need to do in a hurry. Otherwise your pants may need a premature washing.Once mastered, I really like this belt.1.5" is the perfect width. The webbing is thick enough to be heavy duty and hold its shape, but not so weighty to be uncomfortable.UPDATE: Been using for a while now and upgraded the rating to 5 Stars for two reasons. 1. I've become comfortable using it. No more fumbling and 2. Found instructional videos on YTube. Search for "nylon belt plastic slide buckle" and you will find a couple. Not allowed to give a URL here.These belts are very affordable, well built, sturdy and stay in place.

Overview; Nylon/Canvas Belt, Purchsed as a daily in order to prevent usage and wear of more expensive leather and more faux formal wear belts.Quality: I didn't expect much from this belt My thoughts and expectations were very low to the point I was more interested in seeing how well it works and if it does even work. To my surprise I was wrong this belt is amazing. Definitely well made with no Nylon strings or coming apart. Also its washable and comes with an extra buckle just in case you break one.Value: exceptional value this thing is not a toy , it works and it works and it's of very good quality and holds your paints in place as you walk climb ladders bend down and stand up I'm surprised how well it works.Experience: I'm blown away, as someone who had a disproportionate body yes my belly is round and fat my pants slip off my belly. I have always had to purchase belts either to hold my paints in place or because of the attire I wear to work. I had accomplished this by either spending 10 to 15 Dollars at Ross buying faux leather belts that look pretty and last 3 monthes or by buying 30 to 70 Dollar belts that last a while but over the span of belly and years get stretched or get out of shape. This seems to be the solution to my problems its discrete enough that you can wear everything in an office setting but also tough enough to wear when you do outdoor work like climbing ladders, lawn work and installing a wire run and bending lifting carrying and squatting and getting up without your belt sliding off or without your but crack flashing.Also it works like a ratchet where it tightens and clamps down on the ridges the belt has and the teeth groves the buckle has.You may need to play with it a little on how to open or it.How to open; The best way I have found it you unlatch the buckle and then slightly maneuver the attached side of the buckle to let go of the tensionerComments: absolutely love this product although I don't think you can wear it for a wedding or an Interview i do thing it's good enough for everyday outdoors handyman and also for a every day office clerkNote there are several sizes and so make sure you choose the right one.

Most of my belts are flat rope belts (or web belts, seems to be the same thing in a different material), but the ones with the sliding pin kept wearing out the fabric, meaning the belts wouldn't stay tight after a while. This one uses a lever-and-teeth mechanism for both the size adjuster and the latch. It doesn't slip, doesn't wear out the fabric. The belt is broader than my previous ones, so I was worried it might not fit through some belt loops, but so far no issues there. The latch doesn't pop open by accident (a problem I had with a similar mechanism in the past), and I haven't popped the wrong release at all despite how easy both releases are to operate.I do recommend buying a slightly longer belt than needed, and using the size adjuster to absorb the extra length.

I wanted a belt for summer that was flexible and not as stiff as my leather one, to be used for summer shorts and if it got wet, it would dry quickly.I also wanted a well made belt and one easy to adjust and fasten.This Nylon Tach belt is perfect and met and surpassed all of my expectations. I cut it to my waist size, gently melted the portion cut with small kitchen torch (used for caramelizing, etc). A soldering iron would have worked fine as well.The Nylon on this belt is thick and tough. Cutting it with sharp shop scissors proved how tough it was. It was tough to cut!The Nylon clasps, one for securing the cut end of belt and the other for adjusting the belt tightness is well made and should hold up very well for daily use.The teeth of the buckle are plastic and are not sharp, but, they grip the textured nylon material of the belt extremely well without the worry of tearing/fraying the belt material.No metal means lighter weight, no rust or tarnishing, no wearing out of metal parts and this belt could be used in the water with no worries.At the price point the pair of belts here is a steal, in fact, in this rare instance now-aday, you actually get more than you paid for.5 stars all around! Very delighted with this purchase.
