All his limbs (legs, belly, arms and head) are weighted proportionally to allow Emory to sit or lie down yet still be somewhat posable. This elephant is so great. Emory's soothing blue yet velvety-soft fur and embroidered face details are spot on. He's The perfect weight and size for cuddling at 4.5 lbs. It really does give the same pressure of a hug! The construction is solid and durable. He's very well made, high quality, and the weight makes him feel akin to a newborn lying on your chest! He's extremely huggable and irresistible to look at because of his kind, non-judgmental eyes that make you want to hug him even more. Perfect for just about anyone or even a pet who needs a bed buddy. You get the benefits of a weighted blanket without the restriction of being confined under a weighted blanket. It’s been such a great help with my anxiety, sleep, and concentration. Due to the weight, I don't recommend this for anyone under 2-years of age.
