Texas Pete Green Pepper Hot Sauce, 4.5 Ounce (2 Bottles)

If you're familiar with Steak n Shake's pepper sauce, this is the exact same flavor. Nothing better on chili mac! My only complaint is that, there's not a lot in the bottle. You can reuse it by adding white vinegar and water when the original runs out. But you'll want a few bottles because you have to steep the new vinegar for at least a few weeks to get the best flavor. BTW, Amy's Vegan Chili and spaghetti noodles make a delicious chili mac. And this sauce makes the dish absolutely perfect! I only use this on chili mac. I'd love to hear what others use it on.

I had no idea that this was what I have been searching for my entire life, it's more than just a hot sauce and thank god it's legal and they don't drug test for it. I used half the bottle on my first encounter, so delicious! I was in a state of ecstasy. I just put a little on a plain piece of chicken breast to test it out (as I had just received an order with 6 other hot sauces (Marie Sharps, Texas Pete original) and was doing my testing) and it was by far the tastiest seasoning out of the bunch, and I love hot sauce. I usually buy some variety of Marie Sharp's from Belize, which is very tasty as well and my previous go to, but I now have a new love (heart emoji here). Anyway, needless to say I ate the rest of my chicken with just the Texas Pete Green Pepper Hot Sauce, which is really more of a seasoned vinegar, but it doesn't taste of vinegar! It was well balanced. I was surprised because it just looks like some vinegar with green peppers, but it tastes of pure deliciousness. I am already planning on ordering more as a little 2.5oz bottle won't last me long. Thankfully I live alone so no one will be trying to hone in on any of my stash of this stuff, because it is addictive. You have been warned!

Actually meant to order another brand that looks similar. Not knowing if there kosher or not was really concern, but they are. I always looks for taste and spicy, pointless to just have hot. These are a well balanced of flavor and heat. Add to some foods at table just enough to bring out flavor of your food or compliment. I cultivate peppers and love to use on many things. Good heat, it will linger mostly in your mouth maybe 5 minutes, other than that good enough. I add sauce as well , which is very complementary and I like eating few peppers on side. So many add so much of hot pepper stuff it just amps up the heat and kills the overwhelms anything else you put on. With peppers etc., more isn’t always better. It’s not reaper hot but comfortable level for me. I love the aroma, peppers are harvested and processed at peak. Thank You

Not as good as the sauce I used to enjoy as a kid (wish I could remember the name of it), but still quite flavorful! Sprinkle this over your side of cooked spinach and you definitely won't be disappointed.

Texas Pete Pepper Sauce is a perfect compliment for black eyed peas and cornbread. My order arrived promptly and in good condition. The sauce is fresh with a long expiration date. Black eye peas forever!

Great product. Use it on greens. Hard to find in my part of the country.
