So let me just start by saying this is another great product by Loving Tan. I am a huge fan of their 2hr Express tan in dark, and wanted to give this a try because it’s summer and I’m looking for a slightly darker shade. This tanner really is great for the most part, it goes on smoothly and evenly, the color guide is easy to follow and blend out, it does have a self tanner scent during application and just after the first shower but then goes away shortly, it fades evenly after about 5 days, and ultimately it’s a DARK tan. My only cons about this product are the price point (I think it’s a bit much in comparison to comparable tans on the market) and the undertones of this are not my favorite on myself. The bottle says olive undertones and that is definitely not the case. It definitely pulls more red/warm undertones vs olive like the Coco and Eve or Bondi Sands tanners do. So while the tan is a nice deep color, I didn’t love it on myself. I won’t knock it for that because I know everyone has a preferred undertone they like on themselves with self tanners. Just buyer beware it’s a very warm toned tanner.

I have tried so many different tanning mousses and this is the best! No streaking. No orange coloring. You can see your potential results right away- you will get a little darker but I like I can see it as I apply so I know if I missed any spots. I get so many compliments about how it looks like I am tan from the sun. The 2 hour one is the best if you don’t have time to marinate overnight, but if you do choose to sleep with it it is also the best I have found with little transfer to sheets. I always make sure to wear black after I apply and wear long sleeves and pants to bed. I have recommended to so many friends and they all love it!

When I say I’ve tried every single type of self tanner out there, that’s honestly an understatement. I’ve used everything, mousses, lotions, sprays, drugstore brands, luxury brands, you name it. Some were too orange, some faded patchy, some didn’t even show up. But this one? It’s on a whole different level. The color is so dark, which is exactly what I want in a tan. It’s rich, deep, and actually doesn’t wash off immediately when I rinse it. It dries fast and doesn’t feel sticky at all, and it starts showing up immediately!! This seriously is a GAME CHANGER! It goes on so smooth, blends like a dream, and doesn’t cling to dry patches or make me look like a patchy mess or looking like a turtle shell after a few days. However, i dont just use it by itself. Ive finally found a routine that works after trying a million different ways to keep my tan dark for at least a week. I apply Peta Jane in Dark first and rinse the next day because it gives that perfect base then I go in with this. After i put it on i go in with the Dolce Glow Post tan drying powder and that removes all of the sticky! Then the next day i go in with the Norvell Gradual tan or the Peta Jane gradual tan and i use that every day until i am ready to start all over again. I know its alot but it works for me!

What I most loved about this product is its even-ness. I purchased the “put on glove” with it to avoid the palm of my hand discoloring and it worked out perfectly. I am a person with blotchy sort of skin and this product covered and brightened my sin tone. I loved the touch ups too once dried and ready! It does get darker as the hours linger and when in the sun, still wear protection…it actually helps maintain your new refined glow!!

Perfect tan when wanting to be super dark. Last a good amount of time.

I used the Medium several times, it was very subtle but you could tell there was a change. I really wanted more of a contrast, so I tried Platinum, which should be the darkest one. It was not significantly darker right away. Now, granted, 24 hours later, it HAD darkened as it developed, but still not TOO much different than the Medium, and I am fairly light skinned. With the price of these, that was disappointing. Other reviewers say it was quite dark for them tho, so I don't know. Either way, I would definitely recommend doing this a full day before you wanted to see the results. Other than that, this brand and this type of foam mousse self tanner is really fantastic. Easy to apply, no danger of messing it up, or getting too much on those bendy areas, like what can happen with a spray tan. Very classy and smooth and natural.

I am extremely fair skinned (like the lightest color of foundation sold type of fair skin). I tan consistently (been tan non stop for over 2 years). I just tried this product for the first time along with a friend of mine, and we both think that the tan is great - minus a few things. Pro: dries almost instantly (still transfers a bit onto clothes while sleeping in it but that’s ok), Pro: it is a great dark tan. I love to a deep bronze tan and my number one issue with finding a tanner is finding one that is as dark as I want. Usually with most tanners I’ve tried I have to do multiple coats to get my desired color. This tan only needs one coat. Pro: it is long-lasting. I see many tan reviews of lots of different brands that I have used saying that they last a super long time which I have never found to be true. This tan looks actually nice for almost an entire week without ANY upkeep so that is a major plus. Con: it does NOT fade evenly. I’ve seen reviews saying it does - it absolutely does not. That’s not exactly a knock against it because I have tried very few tans that fade evenly and in this case I think the pros outweigh the cons. Con: the cost. $40 for a 3.something ounce tan is very steep. The bottle says it gives 5-6 tans. It gives maybe 3. (I am 5’8 and a size small). Overall, it’s a nice tan and I would recommend giving it a try. The only reason I am not a loyal customer to this tan is the price and size of the bottle. If you tan a lot, this tan will cost you a lot. If you are looking for a tan for a special occasion or to not use very often, I would recommend it. There are other tanning brands at a much cheaper price point that are almost as good as this tan, so I would go for those over this one.

I was stoked to try this but it’s awful. Completely orange. I look like a effing Oompa Loompa
