The Magic School Bus science kits are a fun way to teach science at home. My kids loved putting the little stickers on the scavenger hunt card. The kit also included a mold of a bear print, a bag of sand, a bag of plaster of Paris, five small pieces of plane cardboard, two sheets of black paper, a dozen black pipe cleaners, a bottle of powdered red paint, and a paintbrush, three balloons, tongue depressor, and a magnifying glass

My 5 year old loves this and I can't wait to buy more in this series to do with him. I would recommend this for ages 4-9 maybe even older. I plan to purchase some of the young scientist kits as birthday gifts for my son's friends. It is a great gift that gives them something to do and learn and won't just end up tossed in a box with the other toys because it is an experience.

My nephew loved this, it was fun going through the experiments together and teaching him. It's nice to have stuff like this still even around. This world could use some more science before idiocracy happens much faster than Mike judge predicted.

I received as a gift for my daughter’s birthday. We really liked the “germs” kit (even though it didn’t include many, many items that were needed). This one is missing the screens for the insect house and I need the insect house for the 2nd experiment. does anyone know where I can find these screens they never included.

This kids kept the kids busy for hours. They really enjoyed all the activities that were in this kit. I love that the kids had so much fun using this outside. There were activities that kept them interested also. I enjoyed watching them do the scavenger hunt. The kids also learned from this kit which was the reason behind buying it.

My six year old got this for a present and my 3 year old son found the box and took the red paint powder, which is one of the pieces of the kit, and opened it, causing mass chaos and destruction in my house. Everything is stained red. The powder went everywhere as soon as it was opened. It is not washable. Everything is red… our skin is stained, our hardwood floors, kitchen floors, dining room table… all from this tiny container. I’m not sure why anyone would include this in a kit for kids, but just know to take it and throw it in a garbage can far, far away from your home before bringing it inside to avoid the experience we’ve had.

More variety than some of the other kits they offer. Use as a supplement for homeschooling science for an advanced 5 year old. Would consider their engineering kit next.

My curious 6.5 year old niece really liked this. Lots of activities in one box!
