I bought this KAYCENTOP steering wheel lock as an added layer of security, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do without overcomplicating things. The upgraded aluminum alloy lock housing feels solid, and the heavy multi-strand steel cable inspires confidence once it’s locked in place. The bright black-and-orange cable with the silver lock body is very visible through the driver’s side window, which is honestly half the battle. Most thieves prefer easy targets, and this clearly isn’t one. It fits well on my vehicle, and adjusting the seat slightly helps get a firm, snug lock every time. What I like most is how easy it is to use day to day. It installs and removes in seconds, doesn’t feel bulky, and the flexible cable makes it simple to store under a seat or in tight spaces. The universal fit worked fine on my car, and having three keys included is a plus (just don’t lose them). The bonus use of securing a handbag to the seat is a clever touch and adds extra peace of mind when running quick errands. Overall, it’s a straightforward, well-built deterrent that focuses on visibility, durability, and practicality. No gimmicks, just smart prevention.

Kia boys protection. I loke the function. Easy to take in and out for frequent drivers. The key hole could use a design upgrade but once you get used to it its easy.

This steering wheel lock is easy to use. I bought it mainly as a deterrent for when I park my Lexus LS500 where I feel there's a greater than average risk of theft. It could be defeated by cutting the seat belt it's connected to. But the integrated cover that conceals the seat belt connector it plugs into would make that a fairly difficult task. Pros: The "safety yellow" cover over the cable is easily seen by would-be thieves. The heavy wire rope (cable) would not be easy to cut with a bolt cutter because it has multiple strands. The lock and cable can be stored in my car's center console. The type of lock (keyed rather than combination) is quick to open and close. The seatbelt connector cover helps prevent defeat of the lock. That the cable loops through itself around the steering wheel is a plus. Cons: The keyed lock is also a con due to the potential to lose the key after locking it. Overall I'm happy with this lock. All steering locks can be defeated in various ways. But I like this better than The Club, for example, because it's less cumbersome and can be stored in the console.

Not sure how good this actually is but easy to put on and take off and gives a nice luxury of feeling safe. ssome of the plastic has cracked and broken already from taking on and off in cold weather but otherwise holding up ok so far after a few months of using it daily.

I park at trailhead for running and hiking and had someone try to break in. This steering wheel lock works. I got the red one to be visible. Not a lot of money,, connects simple enough

Picked up two of these for me and the wife. They are super easy to use and also work well as a visual deterrent. If you live in Melbourne, you need one regardless of what car you drive.

Obviously, we don't know if this deters a theft, as we have not had our car stolen while using it. We thought it'd be worth using it if it would deter some amateur would-be thieves at least, but we don't know if most thieves find it difficult to get rid of these kinds of protections, or how easy it is for them to break / pull off the seatbelt attachment altogether to steal the car. However, in terms of quality, the product is top-notch, easy to use, and innovative. The key works well (you get 3 keys, which is great, since we are 2 drivers and we like to keep one at home just in case we lose our car keys). The only drawback is that the loop is a bit short, so you need to bring your seat closer to the steering wheel every time you want to put it on (at least for our KIA Forte 5 GT Limited 2023), which means you cannot put it on while sitting in the driver's seat.
