Don't listen to all the hype, just test a sample!
This is a light gourmand in a similar vein as Ginenchy Play Intense or even a bit of A*Men and some of its various flankers. The scent is mainly cherries and almonds right up front and after an hour or so the cherries and almonds blend into some very dry synthetic woods. The drydown is woods and vanilla but the vanilla and "Guerlinade" are very light in my opinion and would help balance those woods a bit better if they were stronger. While this does smell a bit synthetic it's not a chemical mess at all, it's pleasant and sweet. This lasts forever! I get a few hours of projection and have still smelled it on my skin 24 hours after applying. Ideal is getting a lot of flak in fragrance circles because it's in the same style as a lot of recent gourmands (read: it's not groundbreaking) and it has that synthetic tone which most Guerlain fragrances don't, but in my opinion despite not smelling like a Guerlain this is a pleasant and somewhat addictive scent and I believe the negative hype will die down and it will be remembered as a decent release, neither mind-blowing nor awful. It was good enough to buy a full bottle!

Questa fragranza dura tutto il giorno sui vestiti. Mi piace molto la fragranza, semi-dolce ma anche legnosa. Il dolce per me sono i fagioli Tonka, e una nota fruttata, forse ciliegia? È un profumo molto bello e molto rilassante. Sto usando questo da quando è uscito. Devi usare molto poco, in quanto è molto potente.
