Oaridey 2 Pack Retractable Keychain, Heavy Duty Badge Reels

My 12 year old son kept breaking badge reels for his school ID. He would get them caught on doors, chairs and everything else around him. Either the string would break, the clasp that holds the badge would break, the reel would stop retracting. I happened upon these while browsing Amazon. I figured why not. Since getting these he has not been able to break this one. The reel is heavy duty. The "string" is a steel cable and the clasp is reinforced. The clasp that connects the badge to your belt/shirt is a carabiner style and very heavy duty. I was so impressed that I started using one for my work badge. I was so impressed that I recommended to a co-worker who also bought one. Highly recommend.

I just switched back to bartender after my "career" of many moons disappeared into the current economic abyss, and the provided bar key/churchkey was too flat for me to use easily or quickly - so I bought and now bring my own...but man that thing has WEIGHT. My cutesy badge reel could not bear the weight, so I found this one and I'm SO glad I did. I can carry my wine multitool, new bar key, badge, pen, keys and probably a 6 pack 😁. It clips onto my belt loops or belt easily, it pulls out/stretches and springs back easily, the length extends easily to any terminal, it is super easy to use, and looks professional. No more digging in the containers by the register or trying to pick up a flat tool on a flat surface, which saves me time and makes me look efficient to my patrons. Crazy sturdy! I used to break a retractable badge holder every other month. One of these has lasted me half the year with no signs of degradation. They are a bit heavy and larger than the cheap ones, but it is worth it for the durability. Also, do not expect the retractor to be pulled as easily as a cheap one. You have to get used to tugging a little harder to pull the badge away but again, worth it! They are so strong and easy to use over and over.

This keychain is really good for construction use however it did snap after six months of use. This is durable. You get what you pay for so I guess the value is there. It was a tight enough clip to my husband belt that it did secure. You didn't have to worry about falling off. Definitely kept a handful of keys on the string. Standard easy to use.
