Dell Genuine 65W Power Ac Adapter 4.5mm for P/N: G6J41, 43NY4, MGJN9, HA65NS5

My Laptop stopped charging the battery but it would run ok off the charger on mains. Bought this as a replacement and all fixed, battery now charges up so very happy.

I had been having battery charging problems in my Dell PC for several weeks. This PC is 5yrs old. The battery was not retaining the charge and depleting slowly over 4/5 days to 1% and not re-charging. I replaced the battery with a new Dell battery and for a short period all seemed OK. Then the problem returned the battery slowly discharging down to 1% . When starting to use my computer a message would appear on my screen saying "AC Power Adapter Not recognised". I ran a Pre-Boot performance test on the PC and it identified a failure of the AC Power Adapter cable (19v side of the adapter connecting into my PC) So I re-ordered a new Dell AC Power adapter from Amazon and it solved the problem .. All great now !
