This is the best one I’ve used so far. I have brownish hair with blonde highlights and some grey. I have medium brown it covers the grey perfectly and blends with my other colours. It doesn’t give an orange tone, which others seem to. Even my hairdresser commented on how natural it looks!

I decided to try BOLDIFY Hairline Powder as a quick way to tidy up my roots and give the appearance of fuller hair between my visit to the hairdressers, and overall I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it works. The powder is very easy to apply. The compact comes with a small applicator and mirror, although I haven't used the mirror, but the applicator makes it handy for quick touch-ups. You simply dab the applicator into the powder and lightly apply it to the areas you want to cover. It blends surprisingly well with natural hair and doesn’t leave a sticky or heavy feeling. One of the things I liked most is that it looks very natural once applied. It softens the look of thinning areas and helps disguise regrowth or grey hairs around the hairline without that obvious sprayed-on effect that some root sprays can leave behind. The formula also stays in place well. Once applied, it seems to hold until you wash your hair, so there’s no need for constant touch-ups throughout the day. It doesn’t make the hair feel greasy or weighed down, which is a big plus. Choosing the right shade is important for the most natural look, but once you find the right match it blends in nicely with your own hair colour. I've gone for a medium brown but I think next time I will for a shade darker. Overall, this is a simple and effective solution for covering roots, greys, or slightly thinning areas. It’s quick to use, portable, and a helpful little product for extending the time between hair appointments.

I bought this to help my mum stretch the time between her hairdresser appointments and save some money on root touch-ups. I was a bit sceptical at first because it had gone quite viral, but we were both really impressed with how well it works. The powder blends nicely and looks quite natural once applied. I found the best method was to gently press the sponge into the roots and then lightly slide it to blend. If the roots are quite dark you may need to build the coverage with a couple of passes. The compact is tidy and keeps the sponge stored neatly inside, which makes it clean and easy to keep in a handbag or take on holiday. Overall we’re really pleased with it and would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to cover roots between salon visits. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ineffective and does not do the job that it's being advertised for. It leaves a clear powderish residue and does not look natural at all. It was meant to be lasting and only to be removed when hair/scalp is washed, yet I was able to smudge it off with my fingers. The areas I have applied it on has given my scalp a burning sensation so had to wash it off. Would not recommend it.

What a relief that this product exists! Used the spray touch ups for a few years to disguise my ever expanding grey hairs but after a severe allergy to a home hair colour dye I used earlier this year my skin has become hyper sensitive so stopped using the spray as I didn't want the risk aggravating my scalp. I tried this product and have had no problems, it's so easy to apply and actually covers grey. I use it on the crown of my head as well as at the temples and side burns and it instantly blends with the rest of my hair. It keeps the colour for most of the day, I do touch up in the evening if I am going out but most of the time I don't need to. It doesn't transfer onto my fingers like the spray did and takes up a lot less room in a make up bag! A great product that I don't hesitate in recommending.

First of all, this is easy to apply, however it only slightly helps. Followed all instructions. Only have a few strands of silver hair from roots, but it didn't cover as much as I thought it would. Tried less, tried more, although did slightly cover to make less noticible it was still slightly noticible. So product is ok, but not great coverage.

Really works! I am very pleased with the powder .....it covers grey hairs but more importantly for me it makes my hair look thicker. I also bought the brush as someone had recommended it for the hairline. It helped whilst I was first trying the powder but now I can apply the powder just using the sponge.

This stuff seams really good! I’ve literally just tried it for the first time and I am impressed. It’s giving great coverage and it’s easy to use. The sponge feels really durable and it was fairly cheep so great value for money. I have attached a before and after photo, I hope it’s helpful

This product has become part of my regular hair routine. I mainly use the Boldify Hairline Powder around my front hairline where my hair has thinned a little and started receding, and it really does help create the appearance of fuller hair in a very natural-looking way. I usually lift up my hair slightly and apply the powder directly onto my scalp and along my hairline anywhere I want a little more coverage or color filled in. I also use it after pulling my hair back into a ponytail to fill in sparse areas where my scalp shows through more than I would like. It makes a surprisingly big difference and helps my hair look fuller and more even. Another way I use this product is after dry shampoo. Sometimes dry shampoo leaves behind a white cast no matter how much you brush it out. I use this sponge applicator over those areas and it instantly blends everything back to my normal hair color and makes my hair look fresh again. For reference, I have light brown hair, and the Light Brown shade blends perfectly. I actually think the color would work well for a range of light-to-medium brown tones because it looks very natural and not overly flat or harsh. I also really prefer this sponge applicator over their brush-style version. I tried the brush applicator before and found it too stiff and harder to control, and I did not like it at all. The sponge is much softer, easier to blend, and gives a more natural result.
