slides on painted asphalt
I just got it and spent an hour skating on an old tennis court -- painted asphalt, but the 'grit' for tennis is almost entirely gone. On that surface, the slide was impressive and essentially puck like: maybe like skating on a rink seriously in need of a zamboni job, let's say. I doubt anything would do well on road tar, but on something at the next level of smoothness, this held up well. It also held up fine shooting against a concrete wall. I'd get it again.

Works well outdoors
My son and I play/practice on an asphalt parking lot. It's not super rough but does have many cracks with patches. The puck slides well over this without bouncing or rolling on edge. Feels way better than a ball. I'm glad I took the time to check some reviews, I'm planning to buy more.

Worth it. Just buy one.
Having used every style/brand of street hockey pucks, I can say this is definitely the best all around puck for the street. It doesn't glide as smooth as a green biscuit puck but definitely better for shooting/playing a game than a green biscuit. Depending on the surface you're playing on the white plastic guards do grind down after a while, making it thin and not as enjoyable to play with. For stick handling/passing, get a green biscuit. If you want an all purpose puck for doing everything with, get this puck. I've bought 3 of over the past year and still use em. You can beat the hell out of these things and will never crack. Green Biscuits will 100% eventually crack taking slap shots with em, especially if they bang off the post enough. But these are definitely the best bang for your buck as far as a street hockey puck. Just bare in mind the rougher the surface, the faster they wear down. Only reason why I didn't give these 5 stars.

Definitely worth the purchase.
I bought this puck after doing some research. I haven't played with a roller hockey puck since I was a kid. I have countless ice pucks that don't work in my driveway for my son, I got this one and it slides great, especially on the smoother parts of the concrete. Does not work on the street though, so beware if that's what you need a puck for.

Works like a puck
Works like any other puck. Happy with the quality and value

and it still worked fine.
if you want an ice hockey feel on sport court, then this puck should work. slides decent on smooth concrete, too, such as a tennis court. but not so much on an other surface. I've had these on and off for years and only once did one of the nipples break off.... and it still worked fine.

Not safe, waste of money...DANGEROUS
Dangerous trash, broke after second shot.. Broken parts flew off and almost hit me in the eye. It was new, never used, and it was in 65* F. I would buy a quality product at a higher price if I could find it.

Good puck
Good puck. Rolls just as much as my green biscuit on smooth asphalt. Yes rolls if you are actually playing hockey and not just making a stick handling video standing in one spot. I still like it and would advise getting it.
