Hobby woodworker here. I use these as hole starters and for faceplate preparation when I turn bowls. This is my second set of bits from this company. The first set lasted for about a year. No issues as far as I'm concerned.

These forstner bits arrived on time, were packaged well, and plenty sharp. Machining isn’t the best, but given the price, this isn’t surprising. I purchased these to help start the hollowing process for wood turnings, which they work well for! Well that is until I installed my forstner bit extender in the Jacob’s chuck. The extender accepts round and hex shaped 3/8” shanks. These bits are slightly larger than 3/8” due to the black coating covering the shank. With some light sanding and a little bit of force, I was able to get the smaller bits in this package to seat well in the extender. This did not work for the bits over 2” though. They still seem to be a little larger than 3/8”, so buyers beware.
