Fun kit!
This is a pretty good kit for teaching weaving. The directions are fairly straight forward with the exception of how to get it off the loom.We loved the projects, they are very pretty. But i was disappointed that we didn’t discover that we didn’t have all the right yarns, but instead had double of one color and none of another. The first two projects gave excellent instructions for the pattern. The last project we had to wing it - the directions for cuts of yarn did NOT match the pattern shown. But we figured out work arounds, and the three grandsons are very happy with their finished products!

Great project too hard for my son
They say that it's easy to do but my 8-year-old had a lot of trouble figuring it out that's the only reason why I'm sending it back I think it's an awesome art project but not for my son thank you so much Amazon is number one.

Rushed to market
The crafts are cute looking, but the pieces are cheaply made and it doesn't seem like they tested it at all—the wooden needle broke three times (in three different places) on the very first craft rendering it unusable, the warp thread is so slippery it won't hold a knot which is needed for the craft (I hot glue gunned all the knots), the measurements are off, and the craft as instructed doesn't fit on the loom. Just seems like they rushed this one out.

Great for starting my 7 year old grand daughter how to weave. Exellent pamphlets included!
Well put together package. My 7 year old grand daughter now wants to weave with every visit!

This isn't for beginners (or anyone else, for that matter)
Everything about this kit is bad. The loom is flimsy, the needle is too large and unwieldy, the instructions are obtuse, two of the three patterns are too difficult for beginners (your kid won't be doing this alone!), the patterns look ugly when finished, and the materials are frustrating to work with.I'm an adult who has made several tapestries before on other looms. This kit just isn't fun, and it'll be too difficult for a beginner of any age.
