AWESOME Trail Camera!
It's perfect so why the 4 star rating? It's really no big deal BUT some may think it is. I just want to be honest. I bought the camera right around the beginning of WI bow season (September?). I used lithium batteries and they lasted all season. Camera said I had 95% battery life left as of mid December when I pulled the camera. Set up is a BREEZE with many features to choose from. I set it up for video and pictures as I have never used the video function on any trail cam. As for the video, crystal clear. My wife & I couldn't believe the quality, however, I left the microphone on and it makes a crackling sound over the audio. I meant to cut that off but didn't. The photos, crystal clear. It is sensitive so I did get some "blank" photos and videos. I believe I just need to plan out were it's pointed better. I got more actual photos than wind, branches, etc. FYI: The "big name" cameras I've been buying are in the same price range. I have compared my photos to friends that have $200 cameras and it's up there with them IMO. The camera seems very well built for the money. I'll be replacing my cameras with more of these. UPDATE 4/23/26: I bought another GardePro E5S that they ran a discount on. Knowing the quality of the pictures and video I couldn't pass it up. I tested it out and it works flawlessly. After my purchase I was really wishing the first camera I bought wasn't making that crackling noise while taking video, so I contacted their customer support. The next day I got a response. I sent a sample video to them for review. The next day they said the R&D team had reviewed it and determined it wasn't the wind and that a replacement camera was on it's way. Easypesy, THAT'S customer service! I'll be ordering more. This camera and the company are LEGIT!

Good for the price
For the money this is a good camera. Easy to setup, menu is easy to follow. Takes clear pictures. I wanted an less exspensive camera than my other ones on the hunting property and this fit the bill. I have been testing this a home and works very good. The real test will be on the property for turkey hunting

Check your box thoroughly
Beware of what comes in the box. Ordered several E5s cameras and one in the box was only a E5 not E5s which is a cheaper camera. Check your camera . Canโt complain about the cameras themselves but I understand people do make mistakes this is why I still give the camera a 5 rating because they are great cameras. I have several older cameras A3 and now several E5s and A3s all are very good cameras longevity, picture quality , easy on batteries and budget friendly

Good
Great for the price. Just realize you'll need to supply 8 AA batteries and a SD card. I kind of wished that I got one that connects to my cell phone but those are more expensive. This one takes clear pictures, the night vision works well, and the motion detection is great.

Great cameras and very helpful technical support.
I have used a variety of trail cameras both professionally and personally. I purchased two of the GardePro E5S cameras and I really like them. They are intuitive, they are easy to set up, and the photos are crisp and clear. I have been using them both in timelapse and in standard trail cam modes. I also want to point out that the GardePro Support Team is very responsive and helpful. I had an issue with one of my cameras (it was user error, not a problem with the camera). I contacted support and they were absolutely wonderful in working with me to identify the problem and rectify the situation. They were in contact throughout the process and even checked up with me afterward to make sure I was completely satisfied with the result. I am a happy customer!

good product, takes time to learn its settings and their usefulness
Decent cameras that get about a month out of video use out of a set of batteries or a couple months for photos only. Now the problem is using video it will sometimes not reset and record again and again unless animals are very close, under 15 feet. Its daylight range is not as far a i'd like, approx 15-20 feet. Picture and video quality are pretty decent, you must use a mem card with 50mb+ of write speed if you want good video quality. The cheap mem cards will cause clipping on higher rez settings. you want a 32mb for pictures and a 64mb or higher for 300 40 second videos in active areas or about a weeks soak time. No problems with water intrusion or odd ball issues other than glare from sunlight and lense fogging from nature.

Excellent daytime detection of activity, but poor nighttime detection despite abundant activity
This is my third trail camera. The first one I received as a gift six years ago was awesome, did everything I needed it to, such that I bought another one. The second one was ok, but frequently recorded black/blank videos, so it wasn't as reliable. Both got to a point where they ate batteries within 2 weeks (not sustainable), and so I purchased this one. This trail camera has a much better camera (six years newer, better technology); the videos captured are beautiful and high resolution. It also detects everything, fills the memory stick with videos, during the day. Unfortunately, the camera's night trigger is poor. It rarely detects activity after dusk and before dawn. My yard has a ton of nighttime activity, lots of animals: deer, bunnies, possums, raccoons, foxes, armadillos and beavers. It has detected a couple of deer, mostly because they've been munching on a tree near the camera, and the videos are high resolution. But it has barely captured the backend of the beaver, twice (it comes nightly, per the debris it leaves behind), and has only triggered a couple of other times in the last month.

Good cameras.
Good cams. I have three now, being used as security cameras, and all have worked flawlessly. Only complaint is that one of them keeps popping the battery door off, as the latch doesn't really click closed. I just need to take it inside and take a hobby knife to it to get it to fit better. The other two don't seem to have the problem. I'm happy with the picture quality as well.

Good price for a very decent camera
So far so good. I like the quality for the price. Night videos and pictures are not very good, enough to recognize the animal. Day pictures and videos are very decent and I am perfectly happy with that. It's a hoby for me to see what lives around my farm and I get what I want with the quality that is fully satisfying. Build quality is also pretty good. It feels solid, not cheap.

Great product for capturing what goes on in the garden
It works amazingly well. Night videos are really clear and we have no light pollution at all. We have been able to capture some amazing wild life photos and videos. Battery life is pretty good. It was easy to get started and we have set it up in all sorts of places from on the ground to our deck to up in the trees.

Can be used with re- chargable batteries
Easy to set up with a clear instruction manual. Good picture quality however will chew up batteries like its yesterday so have switched to re chargable ones althought the manual does not cover this option.

Value for money
Value for money easy to operate good quality pictures hasn't been tested in adverse weather conditions but happy so far. Batteries a little tricky to change nothing a pair of tweezers can't sort holds charge well too
