UPDATE. After a year, cannot access vital settings on the control panel. UNABLE to get warranty support or any support at all from YESWELDER. I would never recommend this welder. Pretty nice. Quite like the gun. I bought this to replace a Titanium MIG170 because I needed more duty cycle, and it does that. Lots of adjustments, rather archaic menu to operate them. It's not nearly as smooth or clean a MIG as the Titanium, and if it met my duty cycle needs I would buy that again instead. I used a Hobart Handler for two decades, and it welds very similarly to that unit.

I'm still trying to get this thing dialed in but the difficulties are plentiful enough I don't see changing my mind. To be fair I'd give this 3.high stars so round up if you want. The machine seems quite capable and will probably be a gem of a dedicated al mig setup. But for now it is a pain in the butt hard to dial in restrictive machine. The control lid/cover is stupid in that there is no handle to facilitate opening it. The controls are so small I literally had to get a magnifying glass to read them. Even at that a portion of the control uses a 3 position lcd 8 figure to specify certain settings after a tap hold & twist sequence that seems more of a game than reality. Simply put the welder has impressive components and capabilities but it is very difficult to get it to do what you want in large part because the cheaped out on the user interface. If you already have some welding experience this will still take more time to figure out than it should. If it is your first welder you may go crazy before you decide to like it.

Amazing welder. Does everything i need with ease. I just ordered the spool gun for it. Order it its awesome. Easy setup and perfect welds outta the box

Would be nice to have a better manual

First the one thing I liked was the mig torch it seemed decent, other than that it was really a disappointment , The Power Cord had a very large Bulge in the middle of it , the screen had cracks and even the tension adjustment knob felt bad it felt like it had 10years worth of sand in it so when trying to adjust the roller tension and turn the knob it was not smooth and had a loud crunching sound it felt like a spring may have been bad or missing , which for the price is not acceptable , I was really excited for it but I had to return it . EDIT . Added a picture of the swollen power cord because that is a serious issue and I also added a pic of some of the small cracks that the screen had .

Very advance unit, easy to adjust settings if you have good relationships with your head. Just plug and play!! ABSOLUTELY USELESS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE!!!, 100%. Absolutely! I you planning to add something cool to your atomotive needs- forget about this!! Can't do any tacks on sheet metal- first, it's burning the hole with full power when you click, then in a quarter of seconds reduces power to what you set.
