Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots (The Adventures Of The Bailey School Kids)

My students really enjoy reading this book. They are gifted 2nd graders but I think the level is good for second and third graders, gifted or not. They enjoy the mystery and figuring out if she's a vampire.

I got this book for my 6 year old niece because I read it when I was 9 and loved it! She loves reading and so far she really likes it! I will probably borrow it from her to read again.

I loved these books as a kid and I give them as gifts to my friends kids from time to time. Everyone agrees the stories are funny, entertaining, and easy to read. Getting young kids hooked on a long series like this is a great way to encourage lifelong reading. Plus, shipping was extremely fast.

My daughter used to read these when she was in grade school. I called her and asked what her favorites were so I could get her step daughter reading and enjoying them. My daughter and I had a good laugh at the titles. Granddaughter l loves them

My daughter came home with a later book in the series and we liked it so much we bought a couple of them. She read it out loud to me and it was absolutely adorable. It was a perfect beginning chapter book and one of the few series books that both boys and girls would enjoy. A little bit of humor that we both thought was funny and nothing above her head, no hidden jokes that are inappropriate. She had a couple of words she wasn't sure about but that's to be expected of any book, after all, she's still building her vocabulary. A quick explanation of a word was all that was needed and we could move on. The book had enough pictures to still be fun but not so many that she felt she was reading a baby book.The best part of the series is you don't have to go in order. We read number 20 first and had no problems figuring out who was who and what was going on and were able to go back to #1 without it having been ruined.Highly recommended.

Bought to add to a Halloween basket for my niece. Loves this series as a kid and I'm hoping she will too!
