This is a high quality hair dryer. It came in a sturdy box, wrapped nicely with easy-to-understand instructions. It looks like the kind used in upscale salons because it works just like a professional model. Very portable and easy to use. There are low speed, high speed, air conditioning and hot air Settings. It's powerful, and its Settings make blow drying and quick styling easy.

Like everyone, I was comparing this to the more expensive brand. I think this is the smarter choice and am very impressed. It's a huge improvement over my $40 Conair 1875W cool shot hair dryer I used for nine years. I don't miss that it died.The Laifen appearance is great. Minimalist and simple. Well-balanced and feels light. The attachments are magnetic and I'm happy there are two different concentrators as a choice for styling.The noise level is a huge improvement over a Conair "Quiet" dryer. The Laifen sounds only like a rush of air. You barely hear the motor at either level, it's more like wind. I'm sure I can even use this on my dog after giving her a bath and she won't mind. I think this will lower stress and protect my own hearing.The drying power is ideal. The low speed moves a nice volume of air, not wimpy. The high speed is very powerful yet still allows some control. The temperature choices are no heat, medium and high as displayed by the light ring. Medium heat is hot enough for styling, but not so hot you'd worry about damaging hair. High heat will definitely make you keep the dryer moving and avoid lingering on skin. To style my short straight hair with a round brush, I am using low speed with medium heat. High speed will dry faster, but will look wind swept if that's what you want.The cord is heavy duty soft rubber, not plastic. It's easy to manage and resists tangling. The 6-foot length is taller than me, so I wouldn't want it any longer.This is the best hair dryer I have owned. It is a lot of money, but I feel it is worth it for the ease and efficiency everyday. I can't imagine the more expensive brand being better and according to comparison reviews on Youtube it is not.

I purchased this as a bday gift for my sister. She had neck surgery less than a year ago and I wanted to get her something light weight and will dry her thick hair fast. After my husband giving me a dyson for Christmas I wanted to find her something similar for less money. She loved it the few times she was able to use it. After using it for less than a month, it will no longer turn on! Extremely disappointed. Amazon was great at issuing a refund but I will never buy this brand again.

I hadn't upgraded my hairdryer in a long time. It was beyond time. My old dryer was loud, big and got incredibly hot. This year I bought myself a xmas gift after doing some research. This dryer is so much quieter and takes up less room in the drawer/ suitcase. If you run it on the cold setting at the end it cools it down nicely for putting away.I also love that it dries my type 2 curls with very little frizz and in a lot less time than my old dryer. I really wish I had gotten one sooner. I would highly recommend. Worth every penny.

Anyone with curly hair knows that drying your hair is time consuming... And if you use a bigger dryer with a long nozzle, the heavier it gets.I had been watching this one online for a while and it was getting good reviews. When Amazon had it on sale for less than the manufacturer website, I purchased it.Pro--lite weightshort nozzledries/diffuses my wavy/curly hair very wellCons--small diffuserREALLY short cord!a weird connecter box on the really short cord--I am guessing that is due to voltage requirements for countriesEven though the diffuser is on the small side, the dryer does a really good job of drying my hair, and it is nice that it is not a heavy dryer.But that SHORT cord, and the weird box on the cord, it ends up stretched under my faucet while I am drying my hair. That cord should be at least 12-24 inches longer. Not sure why such an expensive dryer cuts that cost corner.Bottom line, would I purchase this again, YES. It is a good buy, and a much cheaper alternative than the Dyson, which I NEVER even considered based on the price.I will say that the first dryer I received had a defect. When it was turned off, it would not start again--it took several tries for it to come on and stay on. Either the motor was too hot and needed to cool down some, or there was a short in it. Either way, that was not a good thing for a pricy hair dryer. I contacted Amazon, and they shipped out a replacement, and the replacement works just like it is supposed to and turns off and right back on.

I ordered Laifen Swift hair dryer. This was a big purchase for me, even with discount that was on.Used it today for 1srt time. As a mature woman my hair tends to get frizzy/flyaway. I have a lots of hair, shoulder length & layered. I used low speed (which really is more medium) & medium heat. It dried my hair quite fast....NO FRIZZ or FLYAWAY hairs!The dryer is powerful. Button placement great. Settings good. Came with 3 attachments I haven't used yet. But they attach to dryer magnetically. The cord is short about 5ft. Not an issue for me. It is light weight too.One thing that would be nice is 3 speeds.For those of us who can't afford a $400 dryer, the Laifen Swift is great option.

I purchased this blowdryer in July 2023. I only use it 2 to 3 times a week. Until today I absolutely loved it and felt that it was the best I've ever had. The heating element is dead. Only blows cold air and too late to return. I'm so upset that I spent so much for such a poor product. It's useless now and I'm out way too much money. I've had cheap blowdryers last years and years. This is ridiculous. Wish I had read more reviews and not purchased or at least bought an extended warranty.

After careful research and product reviews, I decided that the "other" comparable dryer just didn't carry a terrific back up. I decided that Laifen made a superior product and bought it. I can say that the dryer arrived very well packed and works like a dream. The attachments are sturdy and attached well. The general dryer itself is well made and very quiet. My hair looks terrific and shiny and smooth. Easy Peasy ... buy this dryer and will will not regret it. Thank you Laifen for a job well done!

My wavy curly hair usually takes 30 minutes to dry. This did it in 15! I used the circulating temp setting. The only problem is the cord is so short and has a heavy plastic box thing on the cord which bangs around everywhere. Its seriously short, very odd. Great quality though and the diffuser is a good depth. I thought it would be pretty shallow but its deep enough for what I need.

Hands down the best blow dryer I've ever had. My hair is dry in minutes. Notice immediately Healthy/shinny hair with super volume after only 3 uses. My 6 month old brush dryer was burning my hair. Used my sisters Dyson a few times and wanted one bad, so for 1/2 the price of the Dyson this was a great buy as it does the same thing. I even used it to dry my fur baby and it worked wonders in half the time of a regular dryer.
