GM Genuine Parts 12574386 Oil Filler Tube

Perfect fit for my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. I have the 5.3 liter LM7. Replaced both valve covers and decided to get a new oil filler tube. It was hard to find the right one, as the filler tube had no part number on it and I came across several different ones. Mine did have the markings PA6-(GF+MD) 40< on the side and I found other pictures of this same filler tube with the same markings so I knew this was the right one for my truck. As others mentioned, does not come with an o-ring, so make sure to purchase one. I bought AC Delco 24100002. I ended up buying two o rings and replaced my oil filler cap as it was the same size. I made sure to align properly and it ended up fitting snug into place, not loose fitting at all. Didn’t want to buy aftermarket, I always go Genuine GM or AC Delco and never have problems.

After trying other non oem oil fillers that was loose this oem part was the only way to go don't waste your time and money on cheaper parts that wiggle loose and leak this parts does cost more but you won't need to mess with again

Part is better than a dorman replacement you will have to buy the o ring separately. Once you match this with a OEM o ring. it fits and it is snug compared to the dorman.

Great, sturdy oil fill tube. Feels like it will last another 15yrs BUT it's missing the all-important o-ring that makes it fit snugly in the valve cover... had to order separately.

Tried a doorman part and it arrived broken. Ordered the GM part and the difference in quality is amazing. The material is thicker and heavier than its doorman counterpart. The only downside of the GM part is that it doesn't include the o-ring.
