They have a nice, heavy, solid feel to them, encased in a durable steel cup. The finish is smooth, and there are no sharp edges. The best part is the design: each magnet has a perfectly centered, countersunk hole. They even include the screws in the pack, which is a huge plus! Installation was as simple as it gets. I picked a spot on a wooden stud in my garage wall, drilled a small pilot hole, and screwed the magnet right in. The screw head sits perfectly flush with the surface of the magnet, which is a fantastic design detail because it means you get a flat, full contact surface for whatever you're hanging. Mind-Blowing Strength Now for the performance. The "110lb+" isn't just marketing hype. These are, without a doubt, the strongest magnets I've ever personally handled. Very good option for many purposes. I'm currently using them as a temporary gate latch. It holding my gate very well, to the point I may recess these into the gate latch post for a neat, clean latch. They are no joke strong. I painted them over with a clear coat. No rust, and they just went through several rounds of rain. Pick some up, you'll be impressed by their strength. The useful possibilities are truly endless. The screws are stainless steel too. I upgraded to 1 inch, for extra holding power.

Nice strong magnet. I attached mine to the wall in my barn and use it to keep my pocket knife within easy reach. This is just what I was looking for.

Likes: Versatility. These small but powerful magnets have so many uses in the home or in the garage. Rated at 110 lbs, although I don’t think I’d test them. Six to a pack and comes with hardware for mounting via a pre-drilled hole in the center. They also come with 3M tape backing for mounting, but I prefer the screws to better ensure the holding of what I have mounted. They are quite small in diameter, which can be good and bad depending upon the purposing. Reasonably enough priced for what you receive. These are rare earth magnets. The ad states that they are waterproof, which I am sure the actual magnets are, but I am not convinced that the encasements are – time will tell to see if they draw moisture. Dislikes: The 3M tape arrived damaged and apparently got onto two of the magnets, gluing them together. I had to soak them in Goo-Gone and use channel locks and vise grips to get them apart. They are somewhat difficult to work with in trying to mount them due to the magnetism affecting the tools used, as well as the screws provided. As strong as the magnets are, using the screws to mount them is almost a must as I do not believe the 3M tape is sufficiently strong to hold them due to the force needed to pull whatever you might have mounted away (it will depend on what you have mounted).

Made a side fender top for our Hiker Trailer and the magnets have worked flawlessly. Great hold power and secures the top well.

I purchased these to hang metal art on our walls. I read some negative reviews and decided to test before committing to them. The strongest side is the side with the countersink for a screw head. I put a piece of plastic between the metal and the magnet so as not to scratch the art piece. The magnet held the piece up even with the plastic in between. It was even difficult to slide the magnet to edge to remove it because it is so strong. So, when the magnet is attached to your wall the flat side is against the wall and the strongest side (with the countersink dimple) is out. I'm not certain why folks are struggling to attach these. Once the magnet is anchored with a screw it easily held over 50lbs vertically. I did not try anything heavier because I didn't need it.

super strong, I used it to hold a removable wall panel on my cargo/campervan, depending how strong you want it to be, you can add more magnets or remove some. Happy with the purchase and would recommend it.
