I have used Yolink products after searching for something that had better connectivity. This uses LoRa and it has been working awesome. It is easy to setup and you can use it right away. The range is great. I have used it in my attic and refrigerator with no connectivity issues. I have to play with the speakerhub and see what it can do. I'll update my review after trying that out.

I found this to be an easy install. The sensors are working well -- one in a basement deep freeze and one in a garage deep freeze. They both have strong connections to the hub. The app was also easy to use to: a) set up temperature thresholds for alerts and b) how the alerts would be delivered to my phone (via app notifications, SMS, e-mail.) To be able to monitor two freezers of food, $55 is well worth it!!

I have the hub downstairs in a comm cabinet and devices inside the fridge and freezer. The hub works reliably to continuously monitor the temps and alert me if they get outside the thresholds I have set on the Android phone app. Very satisfied with all of my YoLink products! Highly Recommended.

I have been searching for something like this forever. I live on a lake and my boat engine just needed to be replaced because my block heater stopped working and my engine froze. That's a big expense I don't want to pay again but the dock is too far away for wifi and no other thermometer would reach far enough to warn me. This product is perfect. I have the sensor attached near my engine inside the bilge. The hub emits an alarm and an audio warning in my bedroom at a trigger point I set at 35 degrees. If I am awakened by that, or get an alert on my phone, I can go down to my dock and solve the problem (power failure, heater failure, etc...). I've tested it further than 1/4 mile and it still worked! UPDATE: I recently added their Smart Energy Plug to the system. My idea was that if I lost power in my dock, it would go offline and I would get an alert (which it will do). I hadn't realized that this was far more than a simple power switch. It shows actual power usage from the plug. This allows me to see the actual current used by my battery trickle charger and well as the exact time the boat heater kicks on. As a pretty detailed (anal) guy, I have all the data now at my finger tips so I can protect my boat and know ahead of time if an issue could be happening. I really love these devices and they are so easy to set up and use!

Excellent system, has been more capable than I expected. Still waiting to see how it handles loss of communication from one of the sensors due to battery failure or if it’s bad signal. Replaced my lacrosse mobile alerts for home monitoring including deep freezers, heated garages, utility rooms. Robust alerting options, I pay for the premium service but even basic is fantastic.

I ordered the YoLink SpeakerHub & Two Temp/Humidity Sensors Starter Kit a few weeks ago and it has worked great so far. I’m not very tech-savvy, but I had everything up and running in about 10 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. One thing I really liked is that there’s no subscription required. You simply connect it to your Wi-Fi with your password and you’re good to go. I’m using it to monitor room temperature. Our heat dropped twice this winter, so I wanted a way to be more proactive about catching issues early. This system sends alerts to your phone, email, and text. If you enable the speaker option, it will also announce the alert through the hub. Overall, it’s simple and does exactly what I wanted it to do. Highly recommended if you want an easy way to monitor temperature without complicated setup or ongoing fees.

I really like this YoLink kit. The YoLink app and the sensors work well and notify you on a very timely matter. The setup is fairly simple. I have used their hub before which has an ethernet port, but the speakerhub in this kit does not. This speakerhub I find to be weaker (than the regular YoLink hub) in connecting to your other sensors, so I rated this as a 4 star instead of 5 star. I find that the email support was very responsive and helpful when I have contacted them, even presale questions. Overall I would not hesitate to purchase their hub and sensors again, but I suggest using their hub (which has WiFi and ethernet) over their speakerhub, or just buy both if you want the speaker.

3 Temp sensors installed, 2 in freezers and 1 in fridge ,set temp limits, set alarm low/ high, hey presto alarm speaks through hub + app notification, lora much better than WiFi. Best thing purchased for a long time. 😃
