Our Wii suddenly quit on us. I tried different outlets but no help. I thought it was dead. I asked my son-in-law & he said he had to buy a new power cord. I checked online with dread expecting a bigger price & was pleasantly surprised. I still had trepidation as I didn't know if it was the cause of the failure. When it arrived I plugged it in & the Wii came back to life. Good price, easy fix.

I bought this as a replacement to the original that came with our Wii. The original cord worked just fine for a few years, then after a while, the cord just wouldn't work. Unplugging the old cord and substituting it with a cord from another Wii and the Wii would work fine. And then a few days later the old cord would work again. But it was not working 100% of the time. We bought this off-brand replacement, which does work 100% of the time, but when the Wii is plugged into this cord, there is a little bit of static on the screen, that slowly rolls up the screen. It would seem that this of brand power cable is not shielded as well as the original was. But the Wii powers up. Maybe a newer TV would not have these issues either, but we still have our Wii on a HD tube TV.

I bought this because my puppy chewed the original power cord for my laptop. The product worked good for a few weeks then the connection end that goes to the laptop stopped working. I can't return it because there's no choice to return under my product purchases so I'll have to pay AGAIN for another charger. Update bought this Jan 10, 2020 and that the broking might be a one-time thing but nope bought again on Feb 12, 2020 and as you can see from the pictures the part that connects to the laptop is broken again. It actually wiggles like a loose tooth. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The Wii suddenly stopped working and I discovered that the powder light was no longer on, so I ordered this wall cord. I swapped out the cords and the Wii was back to working immediately. It only took a couple of days to receive and moments to install, and it's been going strong for several months so far now. I'm very pleased with this Wii AC wall power supply cord.

I ordered this because it advertised the compatiblity with 220 volts. When I plugged it in, the Wii started fine. After 2 minutes the thing quit working, and putting a volt meter across the connector shows 0 volts. The adapter had burnt out, or just quit for some reason. I am back to using my old adapter.PS: I decided to take it apart to see if I could see why it would not work. I thought I would have to cut or saw it open, but the 2 round things on the bottom that look like ribbets are actually smooth-headed screws that you can get off using needle-nose pliers.Inside I found a loose ended wire (bad factory sodering). After I figured out where the wire fell off from, I was able to soder it back on, and the device is now working.

I'm sure this is a fine power adapter, but the title states that it is for the Wii U. It only fits the original Wii. When trying to return the item, the system tells me it's nonreturnable. Fortunately Amazon customer service kindly issued me a refund. Thanks Amazon!

I bought this as a backup power cord for my Wii. It works just like the one it came with but the construction does feel a little cheap. It feels like it would stop working fairly quickly if abused.If it's just going to sit there behind your tv then this product will be fine. If you take your Wii to tournaments or whatever then it might not last too long.

This was awesome for a power supply. This is what I needed to get the wii to work again. I got the order as expected. It was my last hope that this would work. If not I would have a useless system. I was glad to find this at the right price. It has been a few months and it is still going strong. If you can't get your wii to turn on this is at least worth a try before you give up on the whole system.
