Our doofy catahoulla-lab is obsessed with toy balls. Unfortunately, he has the oblivious strength of Lenny (Of Mice and Men) and quickly pops inflatables & destroys other toys from playing too rough. We’ve joked about getting him a horse ball in hopes it’d last longer than a lap around the park.Let me tell you about how much our dog loves this herding ball. When we first saw it from across the park, he immediately B-lined and stole it from another dog. He was happier than a toddler who just discovered sugar. He rolled that ball into a whole other zip code!I appreciate how the available colors are darker & show up vividly when viewed through a “dog vision” filter.The Large size we ordered is similar [in size] to a bowling ball and only weighs a couple pounds. It’s sturdy, durable, made with rigid plastic, and unpoppable. I imagine this is what polar bears play with in the wild.

The media could not be loaded.  I never leave reviews but this product is worth a review! My Rottweiler can destroy dog toys even meant for the strongest of chewers, but she has met her match. This ball has become her all time favorite toy and the best part is, she entertains herself with it, I don’t have to throw it or play a (losing) game of tug-o-war. It is hard plastic and too large to fit in her mouth so she pushes it around like a soccer ball and has become quite good at steering it around the yard. This is an OUTDOOR toy only. We gave it to her inside once and it was banging up against the wall, so only let your dog play with it outside. If you have a XL dog, this is worth the purchase. This ball seems to be completely indestructible.

The media could not be loaded.  My dog can’t live without this ball. That is not an exaggeration; he’s woken up staring at me every morning to go play with it for the past year. My dog usually loses interest in any other toy within 5 minutes. However, I wish they didn’t design it with the little hole in the middle as it gives my dog something try and bite. Easy 5 stars if it didn’t have that one “flaw” in design. I’m looking for something similar right now without said hole, but haven’t had any luck finding something as durable.

Our Dog loves this hard ball and it so far is indestructible. Every other toy she chews through and tears up in no time. Not this ball. It helps with exercise and helps her with the herding instinct that she has naturally.

Love this! My dog loves to play ball and is very high energy and by the end of the day with this ball she is snoring! It is great for an active dog!

My dog went ape s*** for this thing. He's a malinois and it wore him out! He always tried to bite it and when he'd get it rolling he would push it by side biting it. This wore out his canines on the sides. Just had him at the vet. But not all dogs are alike. Mine is high energy.

Our dog loves this ball. She usually pops a basketball within 3 days of playing with it, but this ball is very hard and she can't get her teeth into it. She rolls it around the yard and plays by herself. Would recommend it for ball driven dogs so they can entertain themselves.

Shame on me for not reading the details. It is made of Hard Plastic. I was expecting something more rubbery, like the smaller balls I bought previously by the same maker. Will give it 5 stars if my dog really likes it. No way can he sink his teeth into this ball. It is too large, hard and smooth. Will keep you all posted. Cheers!

The media could not be loaded.  Our two year old Rottie loves his new toy! Played with it for one hour straight when he first got it. Have only had it about a month but so far seems to stand up well to his daily play. This will provide hours of fun for him!

It was a surprise that this is an extremely hard plastic ball, but my puppy loves chasing it around the room and batting it about with her paws. She has completely scored the outer surface so it is now covered in scars. Note that there is a small hole in one spot, probably from how the ball is made in the factory. I was afraid my dog would fixate on that little hole and try to destroy the ball because that's how she is, but it has held up really well. Recommend you get the right size for your dog's mouth because I'm sure a bigger dog could destroy the ball if it was able to really chomp down on it.Finally, watch the pricing on these at it seems to fluctuate a huge amount (up to 5x) on Amazon Canada.

Eventually this ball succumbs to the constant tearing. I always have one in the wings to ensure he can still play with one. This is the best toy ever.
