I expected this device to need a power supply, but it does not. I guess, splitting the signal, gives it enough power.Used with LOREX POE cameras. Added a 180 degree camera and thought I’d give up the previously installed one, but by adding this device, I got another slot to keep the previous camera as it has just a slightly different view. I saw a low review on here but he admits he ran 120’ which is too long. I think the longest is 100’.

Bought a different knock off brand first to save money. Blah. Big mistake. Had cams randomly rebooting. Pulling hair out.... Get this. Works with hikvision poe cams with the new color star light cameras. No issues at all. Highly recommend. Using with 16 port unifi poe switch. Blue iris as well.

I use these with IP cameras, saves a lot of time

Works as advertised, plugged in a WAP (that was already set up) and two new cameras. All three worked as expected.

This little poe switch/extender was exactly what I was looking for. Connected a single POE network cable in, and used the 3 out ports for a Ubiquiti Access Point, a POE powered VOIP phone, and a regular network connection to the desktop. All devices work perfectly. Simple solution to pulling more wire

I invested in a PoE managed switch for my home network, so having these PoE switches saves me from needing an additional power source near where I need a switch for a run, whether the devices require PoE or not it works great. Speedtests run about in-line with other powered switches I have and haven’t noticed any connectivity issues. Good value. I plan to buy an outdoor version for harsher conditions outside the interior walls.

This is actually a POE gigabit switch! This makes (in my eyes) better than just an extender. Combining those you can also overcome the ethernet maximum length. Great little device.I mounted mine with the DIN rail, but the many installation options makes it so easy to install. I'm looking forward to get more when my network grows larger.

Piccolo e pratico da posizionare sia su barra DIN che con viti.Alimentato POE e passante, ovviamente non si può pensare di alimentare dispositivi che richiedono wattaggi importanti. Va benissimo per alimentare una tlc con un consumo medio di 8-10W massimi e solo una.Considerando che la connessione è a 100Mb/s e visto il budget poe limitato non è pensabile collegare AP o telecamere PTZ ecc...Posizionabile comodamente anche all'interno di scatole di derivazione non troppo piene fa bene il suo lavoro.E' limitato ad un utilizzo consapevole e mirato.Installato in un quadro con collegati una telecamera IR e due Shelly pro ed è perfetto.
