Revue from a MacBook guy
Beautiful screen. I used to have MacBook pro late 2019 and thought it had one of the best screens. The screen on this laptop is twice as better. Higher resolution and refresh rate makes it beautiful. Good price for powerful 6 or 8 core processor and 16 gigsl ram. Hook it up to egpu and you have a proper power station. Speakers suck though. Sound quality is terrible, it was expected though. Bacically all windows laptops have bad speakers, so it's fine. Touchscreen and stylus are amazing. I used to have ipad pro 3rd gen and was afraid that this transition would feel like downgrade. However it did not. This laptop is truly a great machine. Touchpad is good as well. Keyboard feels amazing and has num pad. I don't know what else to say. It doesn't run games really, because it has integrated gpu, but that was totally expected, as I said, buy an egpu for ~300£ (or 100£ second hand) and gpu you like 300£ - 2000£ (for this machine I would strongly advise rtx 3060 or 3070 400£-600£) and you have a powerful machine with great screen and all aspects top notch. I've been with it for 2 months already and have nothing to complain about.

Wonderfull piece of engineerring from ASUS
One of the best laptops form ASUS and I could not find anything which would come even close from other manufacturers. All electronic and mechanical CAD packages works very well and My desktop publishing and graphic SW is fantastic on true to live colors. Included Asus Pen is a nice touch. I will enjoy working with it.

Excellent laptop with 2 annoying problems
I love the feel of this laptop; solid, smooth hinges, fast. Everything I wanted after returning a Dell laptop for terrible customer service. The OLED display is stunning and the Windows Hello function works very well. A little disappointed that the camera is only 720P. There really seems no reason to have a webcam less than 1080p these days. However, the 2 main issue are: 1.. when putting the laptop into tablet mode (ie keyboard underneath facing down) the keys are not disabled! Why? The result is that I get spurious key presses and the annoying "do you want to enable sticky keys" all the time. There seems to be no way round this, so I tend not to use tablet mode for drawing, which is a real shame! 2.. Battery life is terrible. I've never had it last for more than 2 hours whilst just doing average computing tasks such as a few documents, a couple of you tube videos, some photo editing etc. It's very annoying to be sitting with the laptop on your lap and after an hour getting the low battery warning, so I always use it on mains now. No big deal for me, but for those on the go it certainly would be. This is with the refresh rate turned down to 60hz and the screen so dim that I can barely see it. Overall I'm happy with it. The price is good, the speed is good, the screen is excellent, the build quality is excellent. If those 2 niggles were sorted out would be an excellent buy.

Great Screen but....
I'm guessing the designers at ASUS never handled it. It's full of sharp edges and when you go to to adjust the screen when in tablet mode, the edges are sharp and uncomfortable to the touch as there is a ridge that runs around the screen to protect it. Basically opening, closing or moving the screen is unpleasant. The screen is rather nice though it does have a slight moiré when displaying bright colours. Other than that it ok for running basic games. The Arc GPU is not a gaming CPU compared to a 3050, it gets slaughtered. You must update the bios and get all updates otherwise its very buggy when going in and out of tablet mode.

A good quality laptop
Absolutely good quality, the screen is fantastic, with a decent CPU, though I have not tested the Intel Arc GPU, guess it should work well with most games. Easy to carry, easy to write on. The distance of the keyboard is OK. Could be better if there were two memory slot.

Almost just what you want (Zenbook flip pro 15, UP6502ZD). EDIT 2023 - When it works......
EDIT May 2023 -despite efforts with Asus, Adobe and many many many attempts and internet searches to resolve the issue, if you want this laptop for photography editing/retouching purposes....... don't. Avoid this laptop, and spend more on something with less features if you have to. Any Adobe App, or Topaz Labs apps, will crash the entire laptop. Searching the net for intel arc370m crashing lightroom will bring up multiple results for people with this laptop (and one from lenovo with the same iGPU) where the laptop just freezes. I've tried just about everything solution I've been given and found, and none work. It's such a shame, because the rest of the laptop is really good. I just can't use it for what I want to (photography) Original review below I've had this for a few days, at a significant discount in the Black Friday sales. I purchased it for £1200. Positives. Screen is gorgeous and research indicates it is just about as colour accurate as you need. PPI is approx 211 (My Ipad pro 2020 is 264 ppi), but there is no obvious pixellation, even when the screen is held unnecessarily close to the face. I've had the screen on approx' 60%-70% brightness in non HDR mode, and that is bright enough for just about everything. You can read other web articles about the 550 nits not being quite as advertised, but as I am using it, i'm happy with it. Keyboard is really nice to type on. No issues, not too noisy or clacky. There is zero slowdown. I'm using this only really for basic stuff, and photo editing on Lightroom and Affinity and it just works, with no issues. It weighs 1.8 kilos, but doesn't feel heavy when using or moving with it. It seems to have a balanced weight distribution. The 2 in 1 function is really good. I use it for watching TV or photo editing, and it just works. I can't think of any issues to report about it. Wish it could be better The speakers are ok. Upon first use, the middle of the soundstage can sound a bit empty and far away, and the soundstage to the side is a bit louder, but everything is understandable. You can watch TV, Netflix, Youtube etc on this, and you'll be fine. I switched to Movie mode, and that works best for me. It seems a bit more like a TV sound (without a soundbar) Every now and then, I catch my clothes on the edges beneath the laptop and around the screen. Nothing too serious, but you can feel the edge sometimes. Not uncomfortable though. The laptop can get slightly warm when used on the lap, but again, it's nothing uncomfortable. Just noticeable. Battery life is fine. Not as long as my Ipad Pro 2020, but you'll get at least 4-6 hours use out of it, with battery care function (battery charged to 80%) switched on. Negatives It is sold with an Intel Arc 370M graphics card. What you have to find out for yourself, is that things like Affinity and Lightroom don't automatically use it. You have to use windows search, find "graphics settings", and set the programs to use the cards. Asus provide a pen, which works and feels fine no issue. However, there is no magnetic link to stick it to the laptop. It feels like an afterthought in a way and compared to how HP or Apple deal with pencils, it's disappointing If you want to use this for serious photography work. There are serious issues with Windows 11. Raw format Portrait photos are autorotated and slightly edited by Windows, and this cannot be undone. It has been a windows issue for several months. Raw photos as a whole are not managed well by Windows. Google windows and raw photos and do your own research. If you are used to Apple Gallery, Windows Photos is like going back to the Stone Age. Windows 11 will only organise folders by its own limited selection, Photos will not match the organisation in File Explorer (where it pulls the photos from). Photos appears to only organise by alphabetical order, and I haven't yet found a obvious way to change this. It's like being back in the 1990s, not 2022. Summary. In the sale at £1200, the featureset is brilliant when compared to other laptops from Apple, HP, Lenovo etc. At full price (£1700), it is still comparable to any other laptop, and still worth consideration. But at £1700, if you want a laptop for photography, get an apple device. Windows is what holds it back, not the device itself

Very versatile
A great laptop. The only missing part is a powerful GPU, but on the other hand, that makes it better for battery life and mobility. I bought it back in 2022 and for all four years everything has been good; I have changed the battery once and upgraded the SSD. My recommendation: if you are feeling it slow, change the settings to use the A370M instead of the integrated one. Also, an eGPU solves the gaming performance issues.

Form Factor is Amazing, but Photoshop keeps crashing
I wanted a machine with a more flexible form factor. I love it, it's everything I hoped for in that regard. However, I bought it primarily to use Photoshop and Illustrator and they keep on crashing. I've just lost an evening's work *again*. This had happened several times and I haven't owned it a week yet. When it doesn't the program doesn't crash and disappear completely, it has trouble drawing the windows and the canvas. It becomes framey, objects leave trails behind them when they're moved. Eventually freezing. Sometimes minimizing and maximizing the window fixes it. Sometimes it doesn't. Illustrator isn't quite as bad, but it's not free of crashes either. I feel this is particularly bad given the laptop is sold/designed for using and bundled with the Adobe Creative Suite. It had an Intel driver update yesterday and it hasn't solved the problem. I have to add, my laptop was delivered late from Amazon and when it finally arrived it looked like the delivery people had played football with it. The shipping box was in terrible condition. So I can't tell for sure if it's a design fault of the laptop, or it's just been damaged in transit. I have really mixed feelings. The interface is a dream, the pen is fantastic. But losing my work over and over on a brand new machine isn't acceptable. So I can only really give it 2 stars. If I didn't love it's form so much, it would be a hard 1 star at the moment.
