What is the length of this rack?

Sorry, I meant to include dimensions and forgot - I couldn't find them anywhere, either. The rack is about 16 1/2 inches long, from the mid-point of the clamp opening to the rear of the rack, measured horizontally. The rack platform itself is roughly 12 1/2 x 5 inches, and extends about 5 inches to the rear of the vertical centerline of the rear wheel in its mounted position on my bike.

Could this also work as a fender? For like protecting your back from getting all wet/muddy from the tires?

With a piece of thin plywood on top of the rack you might get some protection from mud and water. Howver I wouldn't buy this product as a subtitute for a fender..

What does this rack weigh?

I don't know. However this rack is sold at Walmart. If you have a Walmart near you, you can go to the fishing section and pick up a fish weighing scale then take it over to the cycling section and weigh the Schwinn rack with the scale. Then put the rack back and take scale back to the fishing section. Leave Wal-Mart and and buy the rack here on Amazon b/c it is cheaper.
