Merten & Storck Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 12” Frying Pan Skillet, Professional Cooking, Multi Clad, Heats Evenly, Drip-Free Pouring Edges, Browning, Induction, Durable, Oven & Dishwasher Safe

I grew up in a family where our business was catering and restaurants. Now, I just love cooking with high quality utensils. This Merten & Storck skillet is equal to, or better than my All Clad, Made In, Demeyere and other stainless steel products. If you compare dollar to dollar, the others I just mentioned are more than twice the price, and so far, are not any better in quality and performance. Before I bought this skillet, I called the company for some technical information and they were very helpful. The one thing that I cannot validate is, will it sustain its high quality over time with tender loving care. I really hope so. The only negative about purchasing this skillet, is the flimsy cardboard packaging. (maybe that's partly how they can sell it so inexpensively) One last suggestion, if you are not at least a moderately skilled cook or chef, do not buy stainless steel cookware of any type.

I like that they are heavy, cook well, and easy to clean. After cleaning them, I like the way they shine and looks brand new.

I really like using heavy bottomed cookware because of the heat retention. The bottom is completely flat which works wonderfully on my glass cook top. This pan is priced far below other skillets of inferior quality. Reviews complaining of sticking are probably from folks who have never used cookware without a non stick coating. Get it, use it, and you'll love it.

Feels sturdy and durable. It does not have a plate on the bottom loke those cheap SS pand so it's a one-piece. It does have a learning curve of how to make proteins not stick to it like any other SS pan but it does its job great. You can clean it anyway you want pretty much including in the dishwasher so that's a great advantage over Cast Iron/Carbon Steel/ most non-sticks.

I bought the Merten and Storck 12 inch skillet because all the information about the product talked about the fine German craftsmanship. When I received the product, the box said it was MADE IN CHINA and from recycled metal. I was going to return it, but when I went to Staples, I was told they could not scan the code and because I did not have an actual UPS label, I would need to travel 30 miles to an official UPS store. It was the last day to do the return and late in the day, so now I am stuck with an unwanted skillet. I'll keep it in my van for emergency use only. I bought a beautiful 12 inch stainless steel Viking skillet. It is beautifully crafted, and best of all, made in America.

To be fair I suck at using non-nonstick pans, but this pan has stayed perfectly flat and heated up well on our induction hotplate. Can't blame the pan for all my food sticking just because I can't get the hang of steel pans.

A nice heavy duty pan that's rivetless - heats evenly - only wish it came along with a matching lid. The handle is comfortable and stays cool.

Worst item, got ugly burnt marks FIRST use

I’ve always bought cheap stainless steel pans that don’t last. This brand is not Chinese made rubbish it’s more the I wanted to pay but I am glad I did. A little help from online videos shows how to correctly cook on it and now I won’t use any other Teflon pan. Eggs just slide around with ease. Just cooked fish and it did not stick. It was perfect. I will be buying more stainless items like a pot soon enough.

He tartado dos meses en dejar una reseña porque queria segurarme de saber bien como usar la sarte de acero antes de comentar. La sartén funciona muy mal, desde el primer dia se quema todo, y se como tratar con una sarten de este tipo, he seguido todos los paso de precalentamiendo de la superficie, hasta que el agua forme una bolita que se desliza por la sarten. Igualmente se quema todo. No he podido cocinar ni una sola vez absolutamente nada sin que se queme.

Es la primera vez que uso un sarten de acero inoxidable y me ja gustado mucho este sarten , he seguido los consejos que he visto en linea y no se me ha pegado nada. El mango no se calienta , es facil de limpiar y muy bonito . Lo recomiendo mucho.
