Before I let it macerate it smelled like a cozy room in your grandmother's house as she greets you with freshly baked pralines. Now nearly a year later it smells like the quiet confidence of genderless sultan. Suedy in nature, the oud I'd gebtle and remains the star of the show. Not fecal or animalic at all.

I heard alot of good things about this frangrance. It can be worn day or evening.

I am a big oud and woodsy scent lover in general (sandalwood, patchouli etc.).My love for the Glade scent Elegant Amber and Oud is actually what drove me to look up whether I could find an Oud perfume or body spray scent that smelled very similar.I watched several videos and was narrowed down to these Arabic (?) perfumes everyone was talking about, and decided on this one since it was affordable, and the review description sounded like what I was looking for in contrast to the others.I'm going to keep the description very simple for you, because there's really only 2 notes and scents you will smell with this perfume: Straight warm sweet oud, and spicy black pepper as the after lingering note.As soon as I sprayed it, I liked it because it is literally the most basic Oud smelling perfume you could have without really anything added, but it immediately reminded me of those old Plum fragrance perfumes my grandma kept in her restroom collection. And if you know what I'm talking about, then that's exactly what this smells like - just in Oud form with a black pepper spice to it that I enjoy very much. I don't know if I would like it very much if that spice wasn't in here, because it honestly is a bit overwhelming. It's definitely something for an older woman, church vibes. I'm just being honest.But if you're that person like me who likes Oud in general then you will like the perfume for that reason alone. But, it is definitely not a wear for anyone under 40 (I'm 29).
