Definitely rain proof and I love the lightweight material but it runs a little too small especially the arm length. Highly recommend sizing up at least 1 size

This jacket is exceptional. Its vivid color and premium quality make a powerful impression. I was pleased to find the inside pockets and that it compresses into a small pouch. It effectively shielded me from the rain, kept me dry, and provided comfortable warmth without overheating. I strongly recommend this.

I have this rain jacket and a Columbia rain jacket. I like this one better. It's lighter weight than the Columbia. It is water resistant but not waterproof. It'll get you from the car into the building dry, but it's not going to do you much good in a downpour for any length of time. It is really comfortable, easy to zip, hood works easily. It folds up, rolls up, and fits perfectly and easily in the little bag that comes with it. This is my go to jacket. I keep it in my car, stored in the little bag. It doesn't take up much space and I'm always ready for rain shower. I definitely recommend this rain jacket.

This jacket is a beautiful color (blue). Unfortunately this is not a good choice if you are in the middle of a steady downpour and you’re going to be outside for a period of time like a half an hour or 15 minutes. If you’re running errands and in and out of stores, then it’s fine. I have glasses and it does provide cover so they don’t get wet. The fit is good. I’m an apple shaped XL and it wasn’t tight around my waist. A nice feature is that the pockets are zippered which I liked because stuff doesn’t fall out of your pockets. I would say this jacket is water resistant because it did not allow the rain to completely go through the material, but is definitely not waterproof.

I’m 5’2 and 128 lbs. I am busty so I was hesitant about what size. I was also worried when I read it had frequent returns . Now, I normally buy large especially with jackets to cover sweatshirts, etc. Unlike the other reviews I did not smell anything offensive and find the jacket to be well made, cute and comfortable. This item STUNK SO BADLY, I could not believe it. At first I thought it was just the bag....smelling very strongly of bug spray! I know, because I am so allergic to bug spray! I had purchased this jacket for trip I was going to take to see my sister I have not seen for 25 years, so I needed this jacket! I decided to try washing it...I even put baking soda into the wash water to neutralize the stink....it did not work! I then deeply rinsed it, again with baking soda in the water, but nothing helped. It stunk so bad, I had to hang it outside on the fence and get it out of the house. By evening I was feeling nauseous and stumbling, by bedtime I was feeling sick. I spent the entire next 48 hours in bed!! When I finally felt good enough to get up, I decided to just "THROW IT AWAY!" It could not have been worn by anyone!! I feel I should be compensated for this!! If nothing else at least refund me or apply credit to something I buy. I shop plenty with you Amazon. I am appalled and you should be too! Call this supplier and ask for YOUR money back! This garment was not fit to wear! How did something like this even get past your packers ?? Very unhappy customer here!

This product looks the way I expected it to but is not what I wanted. The jacket absorbs water and it passes right through. The first few ears water mostly beaded and dripped off although some soaked through. Now, most soaks through. Disappointing. Will keep as a wind breaker but not a good rain solution.
