I think this is the first product I bought using negative feedback to help me decide. Several 1-star reviews mentioned the cable to connect hub to computer is very short (about 1 inch). If you are looking for a hub with a longer connecting cable, do not get this hub! But if you are looking for a hub to simply add ports to a laptop (especially for traveling), I can recommend this one. I did not get this for a laptop but rather my car. I recently had the head unit replaced. Before the new head unit was installed, I used cigarette lighter port for a 2-port USB charger. That port was replaced with a single USB port. Sometimes I want to charge 2 phones or a phone and something else at the same time. I got this USB hub to be able to do that. The hub is small and fits in the small space available very well. It charges multiple devices very well. Just what I needed. Admittedly I've only had this hub for a week so far, and some reviews said it stopped working after a short time, but I'm hopeful that will not be the case for me (I will update the review if it does fail anytime soon).

I bought this to replace 'Portronics Just-inn Combo Usb & Card Reader', a totally landfill junk from Portronics. I should have stayed away from it at the first place and should have brought this Belkin and saved a few hundred rupees.I was lured by the swivel feature in the Portronics which obviously due to it poor quality failed in a few months. This Belkin has the best quality for such products where you usually end up getting 'nameless' brands from China or unscrupulous Indian companies importing junk from China with their logo on it. Some comments below said the ports are tightly stacked, so I thought I will bust the myth about it, that it has decent space between ports and connecting normal sized USB Cable 'In' wasn't an issue for me, please see the PIC attached. The Built Quality is pretty decent and the cable extension is a nifty idea with which you can change the orientation of the hub to any direction, almost like a swivel feature. The cable can be tucked back into the hub when you pack it in your bag and is an added value. I faced no driver issues or any other software issues using it. Its worth the price.
