I used the Kingdder 6 Pcs Pipe Insulation Foam Tube Self Adhesive Insulation Wrap to cover an exposed water pipe that I installed heat tape on, and it worked perfectly. The foam fit snugly over the heat tape without any issues, and the self-adhesive backing made installation quick and easy. The insulation feels durable and provides great protection against freezing temperatures. Since adding it, the pipe has stayed warm even during really cold nights, and I am hopeing the heat tape doesn’t need to run as often. Overall, this product is a great combination of quality, convenience, and value. Highly recommend it if you’re using heat tape on exposed pipes — it adds that extra layer of protection you can count on!

I've got a tankless water heater on the side of my house and once a year or so we get temps cold enough to freeze the intake/output pipes from the unit. The original insulation that the installer put on had degraded over time and it was freezing up more regularly. I finally broke down and got some heated wire to keep the pipes from freezing and needed to insulate over the top of the pipe and wire. I got the 1" set and was happy to find 3 or 4 feet of sealing tape included in the packaging (I had ordered a roll of tape separately). I assume that this was to securely seal the insulation bits end-to-end. I was also very happy to find how strong the outer silver layer was and how well all of the adhesive bits adhered. There was a lot of overlap, so several inches of extra silver material wrapped around the black foam insulation. I was able to wrap the pipes under my water heater, modifying the foam to fit around all of the valves, wire heating wrap, fittings, etc. It all came out very nicely and I'm very happy w/ the product.

I bought the insulated T and an angle sleeve for ease of insulating the pipes. Then I put straight pieces between them. Afterwards I followed up by using insulation tape on b the insulation joints for full coverage. I like all of the products I used.

we ordered this for our exterior driveway spigot pipes and they are exposed to cold weather etc and these work great. The foil also makes them very visible.

These worked out awesome although I did not use them as they were intended. I cut them all in half and use them as toe protectors on two different mattress frames. Got tired of smashing my toes. LOL

The product looked good on Amazon. But in using it is not good, the self adhesive silver wrap does not stay glued to the foam after a few days exposed to the elements, very difficult to wrap in tight turns of refrigerant line. I would not recommend this product. Looking to replace asap.

Much better solution for my rooftop a/c condenser line than what I picked up at the depot - I'm hoping the silver liner tape will make the foam last longer - the installer had used a foam wrap held with tie lines, and in 5 years it was gone in many places. It had no protection against the sun, same thing with the foam at the store - the 6-foot tube was also not long enough, so having the extra bit allowed me to complete the installation without having to buy a whole another foam tube at the store. Having it in sections also made installation much easier, and it comes with the tape to secure the sections together. Unexpected! I had gone up there with silver foil duct tape, but the included tape has some cloth-type material, the same as the tubes. An excellent solution that was installed in minutes! EDIT - have to modify review to add the sticky tape they provide does not stay on - I wrapped the whole thing in foil duct tape and called it a day --
