I bought this item to upgrade my camping utensils--glad I did. The utensils are solid and good enough. I love the organization aspect of the bag: it had the most pockets to keep everything visible and in their rightful place. I like the colorful design and convenient handle. I recommend this item for car camping, trailers, RVs etc. It's a keeper!

Really enjoyed using this kit on our last camping trip! I have a mess kit that I've built over the last few years, and this duplicates some items, but it packs very nicely in my overall box. The case is made very well, and holds items well. The tongs and ladle like to slip out, no big deal breaker. The utensils are made of metal, and have a nice polish to them. They cleaned up very easily with camp soap and a 1/4 scrub pad. I really like how the kitchen shears separate for cleaning like my ones at home. I did not use the tongs or rice paddle, but the other items were 100% what you would expect to have at home. Word of warning: the knife is SHARP! Probably sharper than half the knives I have at home and on par with a $60 filet knife for cleaning fish I have! The blade goes right to the rear edge, and handling to wash I let my pinky brush against it; instant sliced finger. It really makes meal prep and cleaning a breeze, but you better be careful with it!

Overall, the Wealers 7-piece outdoor/indoor cooking set met my expectations of what an inexpensive cooking set should provide. I just returned from a camping trip, and was able to use the set as my only cooking utensil set. Each item in the set worked well with a few exceptions. If I were to review each item individually, I would rate them as follows: Cutting board - 5 stars - small enough to fit neatly in the kit, strong enough to cut on with ease. Really easy to clean as well. Knife - 5 stars - surprisingly sharp, and feels really durable. Can easily cut meat, veggies, fruit, and likely your fingers if you aren't careful. Spatula - 3 stars - the plastic handle broke almost instantly at the end. It was still useable, but I can't imagine anyone could use the spatula for more than a few meals without the plastic breaking. Ladle - 4 stars - ladle is a little small, but it got the job done. Handle is made of the same cheap plastic as the spatula, but didn't break on me (yet). Rice paddle - 5 stars - used this for stirring a number of items, including pasta and potatoes, without incident. Feels sturdy. Scissors - 5 stars - Barely used these but they are pretty much the same scissors that you would use in your kitchen or that can be found in a nice knife set. No issues with these. Tongs - 5 stars - I was able to turn over meat and veggies easily on the grill. Easy to use, easy to clean. All metal, so they can be a little warm, this was never a big issue for me. BONUS! The pack itself - 5 stars - I purchased the orange pack and I love the design on it. Zips up nicely and is compact enough to fit in well with all my other camping gear. Looking back, I would but this set again but just wish the plastic items were a little more sturdy. Hope that helps with your decision-making process.

It looks nice, it's all you need for a small bbq. Great product!
