Part of my disappointment with this product was my own fault -- I didn't read the description thoroughly enough to realize that this listing is only for the beard, not the wig. Since I needed both, it was no use to me. However, the beard itself is decent quality -- reddish and curly. Certainly, it's still a good price, even just for a beard!

The pirate beard came in fast and looked as expected from images online. However, it shed constantly and my son couldn't wear it for the play he was in.

If you were looking for a Brillo pad for your face you found it!! If you were hoping for a decent looking pirate beard... keep looking. Think the pictures speak for themselves. Says free returns but charges you a "restocking fee". Hoping this review will save someone from spending their $$ on this thinking they're getting a good deal.

It'll work with some trimming. Mouth needs a little more exposure.

We loved the beard. We used it for a "Duck Dynasty" costume, Jace. We had 4 riders, yes riders. Our Equestrian Drill Team competed in a national competition as the Duck Commanders.This beard held up well and stayed on even while they loped on their horses. We can use the beard another time.

Authentic look

This product is well made. It not only looks real but also feels good. The smell of nylon fiber is light, which I am happy the most. I recommend you this product for sure.

Good quality for the price. I had to trim some hair from the mustache and around the mouth hole.

Works okayish as a beard, the dark brown one kinda looks like pubic hair . One is rendered just about incomprehensible by the beard. Guess it makes you sound like a pirate...one who had a stroke and has not teeth though

Considering the low cost this beard was just right for my character of Charles Dickens at my daughters 40th birthday party. It sent my family off with howls of laughter and great splutterings. I am normally such a very reserved person!

Yes, it's just a cheap comical beard for a fancy dress night. But it's actually smaller than it is in the pictures and a large amount of hair fell out when I took it out the wrapper. Cheap, but even cheaper quality.

Bit itchie, but got a good laught when used as prop for Robinson Crusoe. Quality item, as the hair did not fall out of it like some hair items.
